Computer Based Typing Skill Test (CBTST) Notification

This notice is for candidates shortlisted for the Computer Based Typing Skill Test (CBTST) for various NTPC Graduate Posts (CEN 05/2024).

  1. The 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-2) was conducted on October 13, 2025.
  2. The result of CBT-2 was published on the official Websites of RRBs on December 15, 2025.
  3. The CBTST for shortlisted candidates in CBT-2 is tentatively scheduled for December 28, 2025.
  4. The LINK for viewing the Exam City & Date and downloading of Travelling Authority for SC/ST candidates will be made available on RRB websites 10 days prior to the Exam.
  5. Downloading of E-Call letters will commence 4 days prior to the exam date mentioned in the Exam City and date intimation link.
  6. Shortlisted candidates for CBTST must exercise their option for Typing Language (either English / Hindi) on the candidate console before the start of the exam. If the candidate fails to choose the typing Language within the stipulated time, the default Language for typing will be ENGLISH.
  7. Candidates are advised to choose the language option carefully. Once exercised, the option cannot be changed under any circumstances. No further correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
  8. PwBD candidates eligible for exemption from the Typing Skill test are advised to upload a valid Medical certificate through the grievance/helpdesk portal using candidate login by 18:00 hrs. of December 26, 2025. Alternatively, they can physically submit their valid Medical certificate at the examination center on the day of the examination.
  9. Aadhaar linked Biometric authentication of candidates will be performed at the exam center prior to entry into the exam hall. Candidates are required to bring their original Aadhaar card.
  10. Candidates are advised to refer only to the official websites of RRBs for the latest updates on the recruitment process. Please do not be misled by unauthenticated sources.
  11. Beware of touts who try to misguide candidates with fake promises of appointment for jobs on illegal consideration. RRB selections are based on Computer Based Test (CBT) and recruitment is based solely on the merit of the candidates.
