Schedule for Document Verification and Medical Examination for Assistant Loco Pilot
This notice outlines the schedule for Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination (ME) for candidates provisionally shortlisted for the post of Assistant Loco Pilot under CEN No. 01/2024. The list of shortlisted candidates was previously published on the official website of RRB, Ranchi on 01.10.2025.
Candidates with the Roll Numbers given in the Annexure (not included here) are provisionally shortlisted. They are advised to report as per their scheduled date and time to the office of Railway Recruitment Board, Railway Offices Complex, Chutia, Ranchi-834001.
SMS/email alerts are being sent to registered mobile/email IDs for downloading e-call letters from the link provided on RRB's website.
Instructions for Candidates:
- Candidates must read the detailed instructions in the DV e-call letter carefully.
- Bring all required certificates/documents in original.
- Produce all original documents along with two sets of self-attested photocopies (A4 size paper) as detailed in the CEN and e-call letter issued for DV.
- After DV, candidates will be sent for Medical Examination at nominated Railway Hospitals within RRB, Ranchi's jurisdiction.
- Candidates should be prepared to stay for four to five days for the Medical Examination.
- A prescribed medical fee of Rs. 24/- must be paid. No other charges are to be paid to the Hospitals/Health Unit for the medical examination.
- In rare cases, for investigations like CT Scan, Ultra Sound, or tests to rule out refractive eye surgery, if facilities are unavailable at Railway Hospital/Health Unit, candidates may need to pay the concerned laboratory/Hospital directly.
- Bring six (6) passport-size colour photographs (not more than one month old).
- Bring Candidate's foil of e-call letter for CBT-1, CBT-2 & CBAT.
- In case of spelling variations in name/father's name between the online application and original certificates/documents, candidates must submit a relevant affidavit executed before a Magistrate or Notary on required stamp papers, stating that the referred person is one and the same.
- Candidates who fail to appear on their scheduled DV date must appear on the block date mentioned in the Annexure. Failure to report on either the scheduled date or block date will result in rejection of candidature, and no correspondence will be entertained. No fresh e-call letter will be issued for the block date.
- No additional time will be given for producing original certificates/NOC for serving employees/relevant affidavits.
- Candidature is purely provisional and liable to be cancelled at any stage due to inconsistency/deficiency/discrepancy or malpractice.
- Merely being shortlisted or called for DV/ME does not guarantee appointment in the Railways.
- RRB reserves the right to rectify any inadvertent error or typographical/printing mistake. Correspondence regarding this will not be entertained.
Important Advisories:
- Beware of touts who may mislead candidates with false promises of selection for illegal considerations. The recruitment process is fully computerized and based solely on merit.
- Visit the official website of RRBs for regular updates and information.
- Important Instruction: Candidates are advised to upload clear images of all documents, colour scanned copies of their passport size photograph and signature on the RRB Document Verification portal (https://oirms-ir.gov.in/rrbdv/) by following the instructions provided. This portal will be active for uploading from 7 to 10 days prior to the date of DV and will close on the date of DV.
