Recruitment for Anganwadi Sahayika Posts

This is to inform the general public that, as per Government Order No. 1/1092245/2025/3313/58-1-2025 (1917687) dated 2025-09-17, online applications are invited for recruitment to vacant honorarium-based Anganwadi Sahayika posts in urban/rural areas of Firozabad district, under the direct recruitment process. Applications are invited through the departmental website upanganwadibharti.in.

Important Instructions Regarding Eligibility and Application Process

  • Only female candidates are eligible for the advertised posts.
  • The entire selection process and all terms and conditions of the advertisement will be governed by the process outlined in Government Order No. 1/1092245/2025/3313/58-1-2025 (1917687) dated 2025-09-17, issued by Child Development and Nutrition Department, Uttar Pradesh.
  • Minimum educational qualification for Anganwadi Worker and Helper posts is Intermediate or equivalent, and maximum educational qualification is Postgraduate. The merit list will be prepared based on academic qualifications.
  • The applicant must be a permanent resident of the ward (urban) / Gram Sabha (rural) of the vacant post.
  • Age of the applicant should be a minimum of 18 years and a maximum of 35 years as on 2025-07-01. Only the date of birth mentioned in the High School mark sheet and certificate will be valid for age calculation. No separate age relaxation will be provided to any candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Class, or General categories.
  • Only online applications submitted through the departmental website upanganwadibharti.in within the stipulated time will be accepted for the advertised posts. Offline application forms will not be considered or accepted under any circumstances.
  • If any error occurs while submitting the online application, or if any facts/data/educational records' marks/total marks are found to be incorrect or forged, the candidature will be canceled, for which the applicant will be solely responsible.
  • The application form available on the departmental website must be filled online carefully and accurately. It is mandatory to upload the latest photograph, signature, and self-attested copies of all documents that are clear and readable, as mentioned in the online form by the applicant.
  • Last Date for Online Application: 2025-12-16 till midnight (12:00 AM).
  • Widow/Divorced/Below Poverty Line (BPL) candidates will be given preference in selection as per the provisions outlined in the government order.
    • For widows: A death certificate of the husband issued by the Gram Panchayat Officer/concerned Nagar Nigam and a certified copy of the family register will be valid.
    • For divorced/deserted women: An order issued by the Hon'ble Court will be valid.
  • Income certificate, caste certificate, and residence certificate must be online certificates issued by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate/Tehsildar.

Regarding income certificate, online verifiable income certificates issued by the competent authority as per Government Order No. 3959/1-9-11-राज0-9 dated 2011-09-30 (as amended) of Revenue Section-9, Government of Uttar Pradesh, will be valid. If any new government order is issued by the Revenue Department in the future regarding this matter, action will be taken according to the provisions mentioned in the new government order.
