Schedule for Document Verification and Medical Examination for Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) - CEN No. 01/2024

This notice is regarding the schedule for Document Verification (DV), genuineness of candidature, and Medical Examination for the post of Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) under CEN No. 01/2024.

Important Information

  1. A list of candidates shortlisted for Document Verification (DV) for the post of ALP in level-2 was published on the official website of RRB, Muzaffarpur, on October 1, 2025.
  2. Candidates with specific Roll Numbers have been provisionally shortlisted for Verification of Documents/Certificates, genuineness of candidature, and Medical Examination.
  3. Candidates are advised to report as per their scheduled date and time to the office of Railway Recruitment Board/Muzaffarpur, Lichi Bagan, Maripur, Muzaffarpur, Bihar - 842001.
  4. SMS/email alerts are being sent to registered mobile/email IDs for downloading e-call letters from RRB's website.
  5. Candidates called for DV must produce all original documents along with two sets of A4 size photocopies, as detailed in the CEN and e-call letter issued for Document Verification.
  6. Candidates must bring six (6) passport-size colour photographs not more than one month old. Also, bring the Candidate's foil of the e-call letter for CBT-1, CBT-2, and CBAT.
  7. In case of spelling variations in name/father's name between the online application and original certificates/documents, candidates are required to submit a relevant affidavit executed before a Magistrate or Notary on required stamp papers, stating that the referred person in the certificate(s) is one and the same.
  8. No additional time will be granted to candidates failing to produce original certificates/relevant affidavit on the scheduled DV date. Failure to comply will lead to forfeiture/cancellation of candidature.
  9. Medical examination will be conducted on the next working day after DV at Railway hospitals. Candidates will be informed about the hospital post-DV.
  10. Candidates are required to pay a prescribed medical fee of Rs 24/- only. No other charges are to be paid to the Hospitals/Health Unit for the medical examination. However, for specialized investigations (e.g., CT scan, Ultra Sound, refractive eye surgery) not available at Railway Hospital/Health Unit, candidates may need to make requisite payments to concerned external laboratories/hospitals.
  11. The candidature of all shortlisted candidates is purely provisional and is liable to be cancelled at any stage of recruitment if any inconsistency/deficiency/discrepancy is detected in the furnished information or if any malpractice is found.
  12. Mere shortlisting or being called for Document Verification/Medical Examination does not entitle a candidate to an appointment in the Railways.
  13. While all care has been taken in preparing the result, RRB reserves the right to rectify any inadvertent error or typographical/printing mistake. RRB will not entertain any correspondence on this account.
  14. Warning: Candidates are advised to beware of touts making false promises. The recruitment process is fully computerized and based solely on merit. Visit official RRB websites for updates.

Document Upload Instructions

  • Candidates must upload required documents on the RRB Document Verification portal: https://oirms-ir.gov.in/rrbdv/.
  • The portal will be active for uploading from 10 days prior to the DV date and will close on the DV date itself.

Block Date for Absentees

  • The block date for Document Verification for absentee candidates is October 31, 2025.
  • Failure to report on the scheduled date will result in rejection of candidature, unless supported by documentary evidence of appearing in a University/Government examination or due to sickness. No other reason for absence will be considered.
  • No fresh e-call letter will be issued for the block date.

  • October 14, 2025 at 09:00 AM (Block Date: 31.10.2025): For 15 candidates.
  • October 14, 2025 at 12:00 PM (Block Date: 31.10.2025): For 15 candidates.
  • October 15, 2025 at 09:00 AM (Block Date: 31.10.2025): For 7 candidates.
