National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC) is a primary center of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Department of Space. NRSC's mandate includes establishing ground stations for satellite data reception, generating and disseminating data products, developing techniques for remote sensing applications (including disaster management support and geospatial services), and building capacity for professionals, faculty, and students. NRSC operates through multiple campuses to address national and regional remote sensing data and application needs.

Functional Requirements for PwBD Candidates:
Selected candidates will be required to perform duties at one or more technical facilities of NRSC located at Hyderabad and Shadnagar (Rangareddy District). They may also be required to serve at other campuses of NRSC, including RRSCs located at Delhi, Bengaluru, Nagpur, Kolkata, and Jodhpur, based on need. The appointment includes the liability to be posted anywhere in India under the control of the Department of Space/Indian Space Research Organisation.
ISRO offers excellent opportunities for career growth under its Merit Promotion Scheme, where promotion to higher levels is delinked from vacancy availability. Meritorious candidates can advance in the hierarchy through periodic Merit Based Performance Review.

Payment Method: Payment must be made through the BHARATKOSH payment gateway. No other modes of payment (cash, cheque, draft, money order, IPO, etc.) will be accepted. Refunds: Refunds will only be made to the bank account details provided by the candidate. NRSC is not responsible for incorrect bank details. Refunds will not be considered if a candidate fails to appear for the Written Test. Service charges levied by the platform (if any) will be borne by the applicant.

Note: The uploaded photograph must be very clear for candidate identification, and the signature must be clear and legible. Failure to meet these requirements will lead to cancellation of candidature. Applications submitted without requisite documents will be treated as invalid.
Candidates will need to produce original proof of educational qualifications, caste certificates (SC/ST/OBC), Income and Asset Certificate for EWSs, Discharge certificate for Ex-Servicemen, and Disability Certificate for PwBD candidates when called for. The original documents and credentials will be verified during the Skill Test. Mere admission to appear for the Written Test/Skill Test does not bestow eligibility for selection.
The mode of selection will be a Written Test and a Skill Test. The Written Test/Skill Test will assess the candidate's theoretical and practical knowledge across the prescribed curriculum of the relevant discipline/trade.

Note: The Skill Test is purely on a go-no-go basis. Final selection will be based on the marks obtained in the Written Test from among the candidates who qualify the Skill Test.
Candidates will be shortlisted for the Skill Test in a 1:5 ratio (with a minimum of 10 candidates per category-wise vacancy) based on their performance in the Written Test. The Skill Test will be conducted at Hyderabad in batches.
Empanelment will be based on the marks obtained in the Written Test. In case of a tie in Written Test scores, the academic score of the essential qualification will be the first tie-breaker. The second tie-breaker, if needed, will be the candidate's age (senior candidate will be placed ahead).

NRSC reserves the right to change/cancel any CBT centre(s) and reallocate applicants at its absolute discretion. Allotment of examination city will be strictly subject to administrative exigencies. If a candidate cannot be accommodated in the opted city, they will be assigned the nearest feasible examination city or the next city opted in their preference list.
