List of Candidates Shortlisted for Teaching Skill Test on the Basis of Computer Based Test (CBT)

Introduction

This notice is released by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) Ranchi regarding the shortlisting of candidates for the Teaching Skill Test/Performance Test and Translation Test. These candidates have been been provisionally shortlisted based on their performance in the Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted for the Ministerial and Isolated Categories against Centralized Employment Notification (CEN NO: 07/2024).

Examination Details

  • CBT Dates: The Computer Based Test (CBT) was held from 2025-09-10 to 2025-09-12.
  • Shortlisting Basis: Candidates are shortlisted by Roll Number in ascending order (not merit-wise).
  • Other Categories: Results for other notified posts that do not require a Translation Test/Performance Test/Teaching Skill Test will be declared at the time of publishing the shortlisting result for Document Verification.

Shortlisting Ratios

  • Translation Test: The total number of candidates shortlisted for the Translation Test is 10 times the notified vacancies.
  • Teaching Skill Test/Performance Test: The total number of candidates shortlisted for this test is 2.5 times the notified vacancies, subject to the availability of qualified candidates.

Individual Results and Score Cards

Candidates who appeared in multiple categories or shifts based on their eligibility and post preference have been shortlisted according to their merit in each category. Candidates can view their individual results, scorecards, and question papers with final answer keys by logging into the official RRB websites. This facility requires their Registration Number and Date of Birth. This viewing facility will be available only for fifteen days from the date of this notice. Scorecards will only be provided for categories where shortlisting results have been published. For other categories, scorecards and question papers will be made available after the shortlisting for Document Verification is published.

Upcoming Tests

  • Test Location: The Translation Test/Teaching Skill Test/Performance Test will be held at the location indicated in the e-call letter.
  • Test Dates: All shortlisted candidates will be informed about the actual dates for the Translation Test/Teaching Skill Test/Performance Test through official websites, SMS, and email (as provided in their application).
  • Candidates are advised to regularly visit the RRB's official website for the latest updates.

Important Information for Candidates

  • Provisional Candidature: The candidature of all shortlisted candidates is purely provisional and is subject to cancellation at any stage of recruitment if any inconsistency, deficiency, discrepancy, or malpractice is detected in the information provided in their online application.
  • No Right to Appointment: Merely being called for the Translation Test/Teaching Skill Test/Performance Test does not entitle a candidate to an appointment in the Railways.
  • Accuracy of Results: While all care has been taken in preparing the result, RRB reserves the right to rectify any inadvertent errors, typographical, or printing mistakes. No correspondence on this account will be entertained.
  • Merit-Based Selection: All recruitment-related activities by Railways are purely merit-based. Candidates are not required to make any payment to any authorities for the Translation Test/Teaching Skill Test/Performance Test.
  • Warning Against Touts: Candidates are warned against individuals who may mislead them with false promises of selection on illegal considerations. The recruitment process is fully computerized, and selection is based purely on candidate merit.
