Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) invites online applications on behalf of Delhi High Court for the recruitment to the posts of Chauffeur and Despatch Rider-cum-Process Server.

Eligibility Criteria

Chauffeur (Post Code: 53/25)

Educational Qualification: Matric / Higher Secondary with a driving license for light motor vehicles. Preference for candidates who have worked as a Driver in Indian Armed Forces and Central Armed Police Forces.
Experience: 2 years unblemished experience in the line.
Pay Scale: Level-5 as per 7th CPC, Group-C.
Age Limit: Not below 18 years and not over 27 years of age as on 01.01.2025.

Despatch Rider-cum-Process Server (Post Code: 54/25)

Educational Qualification: Matric / Higher Secondary with a driving license for light motor vehicles/motor cycle.
Experience: 2 years unblemished driving experience.
Pay Scale: Level-5 as per 7th CPC, Group-C.
Age Limit: Not below 18 years and not over 27 years of age as on 01.01.2025.

Candidates must apply online through the website https://dsssbonline.nic.in. Only online applications will be accepted.

Application Fee

Fee: ₹ 100/- (One Hundred only).
Exemptions: Women candidates and candidates belonging to Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe, PwBD, and Ex-Serviceman categories are exempted from paying the application fee.
Mode of Payment: SBI e-pay only.
Skill Test Fee: Charges/fee for Skill tests shall be payable by the concerned candidates directly to the agency conducting the tests.

Examination Scheme

For Chauffeur (Post Code: 53/25)

Stage-I (Preliminary Examination): Objective Type, 50 MCQs, 100 Marks, 90 Minutes. Syllabus includes driving skills, road signals, road safety, GPS, basic mechanical knowledge, etc. There will be 25% negative marking (0.50 mark deduction per wrong answer).
Stage-II (Skill Tests): Total 100 Marks, consisting of a) Driving Skill Test on Simulator (50 Marks) and b) Driving Skill Test on road in Real Traffic Conditions (50 Marks).
Stage-III (Interview): Total 15 Marks.

For Despatch Rider-cum-Process Server (Post Code: 54/25)

Stage-I (Preliminary Examination): Objective Type, 50 MCQs, 100 Marks, 90 Minutes. Syllabus includes driving skills, road signals, road safety, GPS, basic mechanical knowledge, etc. There will be 25% negative marking (0.50 mark deduction per wrong answer).
Stage-II (Skill Tests): Total 150 Marks, consisting of a) Skill Test on Scooty in Real Traffic Conditions (75 Marks) and b) Skill Test on Bike (Motorcycle) in Real Traffic Conditions (75 Marks).
Stage-III (Interview): Total 15 Marks.

Mode of Selection

Selection will be based on the examination scheme mentioned above. The final merit list will be prepared by the Delhi High Court by adding the marks from the Preliminary Examination, Skill Tests, and Interview.
