This notice announces the provisional shortlisting of candidates for Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination (ME) based on their performance in the Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted from 2025-09-10 to 2025-09-12 for various posts in Ministerial and Isolated categories under Centralized Employment Notification (CEN NO 07/2024).

Document Verification (DV) Details

  • Schedule and Location: DV will be held at the place indicated in the e-call letter. Candidates will receive an Email/SMS/Website notification to download their e-call letter, which will include details of the date, reporting time, and instructions for DV and ME.
  • Required Documents: Candidates must submit two sets of self-attested A4 size photocopies along with all original documents as mentioned in the CEN and e-call letter.
  • Language of Certificates: Certificates presented during DV must be in the prescribed format and either in English or Hindi.
  • Absence: No additional time will be provided for not producing original certificates on the DV date. Candidates absent during DV and/or ME will forfeit their candidature.

Medical Examination (ME) Details

  • Procedure: After completing DV, candidates will be sent for a Medical Examination at designated Railway Hospitals located within the RRB's jurisdiction on the next day. This may involve travel from the RRB to the city of the Railway Hospital.
  • Duration: Candidates should be prepared for 3 to 4 days to complete both DV and ME.
  • Medical Fee: A prescribed medical fee of Rs 24/- is payable. No other charges are to be paid directly to the hospitals/health units for the examination.
  • Special Cases: In rare instances where advanced investigations (e.g., CT scan, ultrasound, refractive eye surgery tests) are required and not available at the Railway Hospital/Health Unit, candidates may need to make payments directly to the concerned external laboratory/hospital.

Important Instructions and Warnings

  • Provisional Candidature: The candidature of all shortlisted candidates for DV is purely provisional and is subject to cancellation at any stage of recruitment if any inconsistency, deficiency in furnished data, or malpractice is discovered.
  • No Guarantee of Appointment: Merely being called for Document Verification does not entitle a candidate to appointment in the Railways.
  • Error Rectification: While utmost care has been taken in preparing the shortlist, RRB reserves the right to rectify any inadvertent errors or typographical/printing mistakes.
  • No Correspondence: RRB will not entertain any correspondence from unsuccessful candidates.
  • Merit-Based Selection: All recruitment activities by Railways are strictly merit-based. Candidates are explicitly warned not to make any payments to unauthorized parties beyond the prescribed medical examination fee.
  • Caution Against Touts: Candidates are advised to beware of touts who may mislead them with false promises of selection for illegal consideration. The recruitment process is fully computerized, and selection is based purely on merit.
  • Updates: Candidates are advised to regularly visit the RRB's official website for the latest updates and information.

Result/Scorecard Access

  • Candidates can view their individual result/scorecard by logging into the RRB portal using their Registration Number and Date of Birth.
  • This facility will be available for fifteen days from the date of this notice.
