Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

  • The candidate must be an Indian citizen.

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university or an equivalent examination recognized by the State Government as of 01.08.2025.

Age Limit (as on 01.08.2025)

  • Unreserved (Male): 20 to 37 years
  • Unreserved (Female), BC & EBC (Male & Female): 20 to 40 years
  • SC & ST (Male & Female): 20 to 42 years
  • Age relaxation is applicable for government servants and ex-servicemen as per government rules.

Physical Standards

Height

  • UR & BC (Male): Minimum 165 cm
  • EBC, SC & ST (Male): Minimum 160 cm
  • All Categories (Female): Minimum 155 cm

Chest (For Males Only)

  • UR, BC, EBC (Male): Unexpanded - 81 cm, Expanded - 86 cm (Minimum 5 cm expansion required)
  • SC, ST (Male): Unexpanded - 79 cm, Expanded - 84 cm (Minimum 5 cm expansion required)

Weight

  • All Categories (Female): Minimum 48 kg is required.

Selection Process

  1. Preliminary Written Examination:

    • A single paper of 200 marks with 100 questions on General Knowledge & Current Affairs.
    • Duration: 2 hours.
    • Minimum 30% marks are required to qualify.
    • Candidates equal to 20 times the number of vacancies will be shortlisted for the Mains exam.
  2. Main Written Examination:

    • Paper-I (General Hindi): 200 marks, 100 questions, 2 hours duration. This paper is qualifying in nature, and candidates must score at least 30%.
    • Paper-II (General Studies): 200 marks, 100 questions, 2 hours duration. Subjects include General Science, Civics, Indian History, Indian Geography, Mathematics, and Mental Ability Test.
    • Negative Marking: There will be a deduction of 0.2 marks for each wrong answer in both preliminary and main examinations.
  3. Physical Efficiency Test (PET):

    • This stage is qualifying in nature.
    • Running:
      • Males: 1.6 km (1 Mile) in 6 minutes 30 seconds.
      • Females: 1 km in 6 minutes.
    • High Jump:
      • Males: Minimum 4 feet.
      • Females: Minimum 3 feet.
    • Long Jump:
      • Males: Minimum 12 feet.
      • Females: Minimum 9 feet.
    • Shot Put:
      • Males: Throw 16-pound ball to a minimum distance of 16 feet.
      • Females: Throw 12-pound ball to a minimum distance of 10 feet.

  • The application fee is ₹100/- for all categories of candidates.
  • The fee must be paid online via Net Banking, Credit Card, or Debit Card.
