Overview
Rajasthan Staff Selection Board, Jaipur, has issued a detailed advertisement (No. 07/2025) for the recruitment of Jamedar Grade-II posts. Application Process

- Steps to Apply Online:
- Online applications will be accepted through the SSO Portal (http://sso.rajasthan.gov.in) via E-Mitra Kiosks or Jan Suvidha Kendras.
- First, thoroughly review the detailed advertisement.
- Log in to the SSO Portal (http://sso.rajasthan.gov.in) and select 'Recruitment Portal' under 'Citizen Apps (G2C)'.
- Click on 'Apply Now'.
- If the One Time Registration (OTR) fee has not been paid, pay it first by selecting your category (Unreserved (UR), EWS, OBC-NC, MBC-NC, SC, ST, Sahariya), disability status, and home state.
- Fill the OTR carefully.
- After OTR completion, you can apply using your SSO ID. You must enter your CET (Senior Secondary)-2024 online application number. The system will verify your data from CET (Senior Secondary)-2024.
- Upload a live photo and indicate any visible body marks.
- Information submitted in OTR can be edited. Other details must be filled carefully.
- Application Form Submission Note:
- After final submission, an online application number will be generated. Keep a printout for your records.
- It is advised not to use any other portal or facility for depositing the OTR fee.
- Ensure OTR fee payment is made before the last date to avoid transaction-related issues.
- Provide your own mobile number and email ID, and do not change them until the recruitment process is complete.
- An online application number (Application ID) is mandatory. If not received, your application is not considered accepted.
- Online application submission by the due date is mandatory; offline applications will not be accepted.

Application Fee (One Time Registration Fee)
Based on circular dated 19.04.2023, fees are payable through SSO ID, E-Mitra Kiosks, or CSCs.
- General category, Creamy Layer OBC/MBC, EWS: Rs. 600/-
- Non-Creamy Layer OBC/MBC, SC/ST, Sahariya: Rs. 400/-
- All PWD applicants: Rs. 400/-
Note on Fees:
- Applicants from other states/UTs will be considered General Category and must pay Rs. 600/-.
- Applicants who have already paid the OTR fee are not required to pay again.
- If an applicant misses two exams in a financial year, the OTR facility will be blocked. Re-activation requires a penalty payment of Rs. 750/-. If two more exams are missed in the same financial year, the facility is blocked again and restored only after paying a double penalty of Rs. 1500/-.

Age Limit
Age will be calculated from January 1, 2026. Applicants should be at least the minimum age and not more than 40 years by this date. No additional age relaxation for Jamedar Grade-II posts as no recruitment has been held before.
Age Relaxation for Other Special Categories (Maximum Age Limit):
- SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS Male candidates of Rajasthan: 5 years.
- General Female candidates: 5 years.
- SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS Female candidates of Rajasthan: 10 years.
- Ex-convicts: No maximum age limit if eligible before conviction.
- Temporary appointees: Considered age-eligible if they were so at initial appointment.
- Persons retrenched from state service: Maximum age 35 years.
- Repatriates from Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African countries: Maximum age 45 years (5 years further relaxation for SC/ST).
- Repatriates from East African countries (Kenya, Tanganyika, Uganda, Zanzibar): No age limit.
- State government employees (substantive): Maximum age 40 years.
- Migrants from Pakistan during 1971 Indo-Pak war: No age limit.
- Widows and divorcees: No age limit (but not beyond government retirement age).
- NCC Cadet Instructors: Relaxation equal to service period, not exceeding 3 years beyond maximum age limit.
- Ex-servicemen: 15 years age relaxation, but not beyond 50 years (55 years if experience is mandatory).
- State, Panchayat Samiti, Zila Parishad, and public sector undertaking/corporation employees (substantive): Maximum age 40 years.
- Note: Age relaxation provisions are non-cumulative; only one provision can be availed.
