Interview Schedule for Assistant Director Grade-I (IEDS)

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the interview schedule for shortlisted candidates for the recruitment of 11 vacancies for the post of Assistant Director Grade-I (IEDS) (Chemical) in the Office of the Development Commissioner (MSME), Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.

Interview Details

  • Venue: UPSC Office, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi – 110 069.
  • Interview Dates: 23.03.2026, 24.03.2026, and 25.03.2026.
  • Reporting Time:
    • Forenoon Session: 09:00 A.M
    • Afternoon Session: 12:00 Noon

Candidates are requested to appear for the interview as per their scheduled date and time.

Documents to be Submitted on the Day of Interview

Candidates must bring all original documents along with their self-attested photocopies. The required documents include:

  1. Proof of Age: Matriculation/10th Standard certificate or mark sheet indicating the date of birth.
  2. Educational Qualification: Degree/provisional certificate and mark sheets for all academic years as mentioned in Advt. No. 07/2025.
  3. Experience Certificate: Certificate(s) in the prescribed proforma from the Head of Organization(s) for the entire experience claimed.
  4. Caste/Community Certificate: SC/ST/OBC/EWS certificate in the prescribed proforma from the competent authority.
  5. OBC Declaration: A declaration in the prescribed proforma for OBC candidates stating they do not belong to the creamy layer.
  6. Physically Handicapped (PH) Certificate: Certificate in the prescribed proforma issued by the competent authority.
  7. Name Change Documents: Relevant documents such as marriage certificate, divorce decree, or affidavit in case of a name change after matriculation.
  8. Age Relaxation Certificates: Certificates for claiming age relaxation (e.g., for Ex-Servicemen, Central/UT Government Employees).
  9. Declaration for Government Servants: Employed candidates must submit a declaration that they have informed their Head of Office/Department in writing about their application.

Important Instructions for Candidates

  • Candidates are required to bring three copies of recent passport-size photographs (4 cm x 5 cm approx.).
  • The Attestation Form, available on the Commission's website, must be filled out and submitted on the day of the interview.
  • The candidature is provisional and subject to verification of documents and eligibility.
  • No request for a change of date of the interview will be entertained.
  • Outstation candidates will be reimbursed for travel expenses equivalent to a Second/Sleeper class train fare (Mail Express) upon submission of tickets and the T.A. claim form.
  • Electronic devices such as mobile phones, laptops, cameras, etc., are strictly prohibited inside the UPSC premises.
