Candidates are advised to refer to the Notice of Phase-XIII/2025/Selection Posts Examination published on the Commission's website on June 2nd, 2025. The Commission has implemented a revised modality for the scrutiny of documents and document verification (DV) applicable from Phase-XIII/2025 onwards. The changes are as follows:
a) After the declaration of the Computer Based Examination (CBE) result, candidates will upload their documents on the SSC designated portal. After the deadline, SSC will e-mail all documents to the Nodal Officers of the concerned User Departments.
b) The User Departments will conduct the scrutiny of documents based on the educational and other qualifications mentioned in the Notice of Examination.
c) After scrutiny, User Departments will send a Tentative Acceptance / Rejection List to the concerned Regional Office (RO), which will upload the list on its website. Candidates wishing to make a representation against this list must submit it directly to the concerned User Department.
d) The User Departments will examine the representations and prepare a Final Acceptance / Rejection List, which will also be sent to the RO for website upload.
e) For posts requiring a Skill Test, the User Department will issue call letters and conduct the test if it falls within their domain, submitting the report to the RO. If the Skill Test falls within SSC's domain, the RO will issue the call letters.
f) The User Department will schedule the document verification for candidates whose candidature has been accepted. They will issue a call letter indicating the time and venue. The DV schedule will also be shared with the RO for publication on its website.
g) For posts without a Skill Test, User Departments will proceed directly to DV after the Final Acceptance / Rejection List is uploaded.
h) After completion of DV, the User Department will share the DV report with the concerned Regional Office, which will process it for the declaration of the final result/select list.
These modifications will override any conflicting provisions in the Notice of Phase-XIII/2025/Selection Posts Examination published on June 2nd, 2025.
