This notice is issued by the Office of the District Program Officer, Sultanpur, for the direct recruitment to vacant Anganwadi Worker posts. This recruitment is in accordance with Government Order No. 2025/3313/58-1-2025 (1917687) dated September 17, 2025, issued by the Principal Secretary, Child Development Services & Nutrition, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow. Vacancy Details

A total of 7 vacant Anganwadi Worker posts are to be filled in Sultanpur district across various Child Development Projects. The project-wise and category-wise distribution of these posts is as follows:

Eligibility and Application Instructions

  1. Only female candidates are eligible to apply for these contractual posts.
  2. Educational Qualification: The minimum educational qualification for Anganwadi Worker posts is Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent. Merit will be prepared based on the marks of the highest educational qualification up to Post-graduation.
  3. Age Limit: Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years of age as on July 01, 2025. The date of birth recorded in the High School mark sheet/certificate will be considered valid.
  4. Priority in Selection:
    • Priority 1: Widows, legally divorced, or abandoned women living below the poverty line (BPL) from the same Gram Sabha/Ward (in urban areas).
    • Proof for Priority 1:
      • For widows: Death certificate issued by the Gram Panchayat Officer/concerned Nagar Nikay and a certified copy of the family register.
      • For divorced/abandoned: A legal order from a competent court.
    • Priority 2: If no eligible candidates are found under Priority 1, BPL women residing in the same Gram Sabha/Ward.
    • Priority 3: If no eligible candidates are found under Priorities 1 and 2, non-BPL widows, legally divorced, or abandoned women from the same Gram Sabha/Ward.
    • Priority 4: If no eligible candidates are found under Priorities 1, 2, and 3, non-BPL women from the same Gram Sabha/Ward.
  5. Residence and Caste Certificates: Only online digitally signed residence and caste certificates issued by the Tehsil, which can be verified online, will be considered valid.
  6. Income Certificate: Only income certificates issued by a competent authority in accordance with Uttar Pradesh Government Revenue Section-9, Government Order No. 3959/1-9-11-राज-9 dated September 30, 2011 (as amended), which can be verified online, will be considered valid.
  7. Application Process:
    • Applications must be submitted online through the departmental website http://upanganwadibharti.in using the prescribed format.
    • Applicants must carefully fill out the form.
    • Self-attested copies of all documents, which must be clean and readable, should be uploaded as part of the online application.
    • No offline applications, whether by post or in person, will be accepted.
    • Applications with errors, incorrect facts/data, or forged educational records will lead to the cancellation of candidature.
