RRB Chandigarh CEN 01/2024 ALP Document Verification Schedule (Round 4)

Introduction

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), Chandigarh has released the schedule for the fourth round of Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination (ME) for the post of Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) under CEN No. 01/2024. This is to fill the remaining vacancies after the publication of the Main Panel and Part Panels 1, 2, & 3 on 06-11-2025, 13-11-2025, 17-12-2025, and 15-01-2026 respectively. Candidates have been provisionally shortlisted based on their performance in the Computer Based Tests (CBT-I, CBT-II, CBAT).

Note: The candidature of all shortlisted candidates is purely provisional and subject to cancellation at any stage if any inconsistency or malpractice is found. Being called for DV/ME does not confer any right to an appointment in the Railways.

The notice includes a list of 04 candidates' roll numbers who are scheduled to appear for the DV.

Block Date for Absentee Candidates

A second and final chance will be given to candidates who fail to report on their scheduled DV date for valid reasons. The block date is 23-03-2026 (Monday) at 09:30 AM at the RRB Chandigarh office. This opportunity is only for candidates who can provide documentary evidence of appearing in a University/Government examination or due to sickness. No other reason will be considered. Candidates must attend with the same e-call letter downloaded for the regular DV.

Important Instructions for Candidates

1. E-Call Letter

The portal link for downloading the E-Call letter for DV will be activated on the official RRB Chandigarh website (www.rrbcdg.gov.in) 4 days prior to the scheduled DV date. Eligible SC/ST candidates will be provided with free travel authority as per rules.

2. Uploading Documents Online

A portal link will be made available on the RRB official website 15 days prior to the DV date for uploading scanned copies of original documents. Candidates must upload:

  • Latest photograph, signature, and two identification marks.
  • Aadhaar Card.
  • e-Call Letter issued during CBT.
  • Matriculation (10th Class) Certificate and Marksheet in a single PDF.
  • Community Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS). OBC/EWS certificates must be valid as on the date of online application and also a current valid certificate.
  • An Affidavit for any spelling discrepancies in names (candidate, father, mother).
  • Disability Certificate and UDID card for PwBD candidates.
  • Diploma/Degree and all related semester-wise Mark Sheets in a single PDF.
  • NOC from the employer if a serving employee.

3. Documents to Bring for Verification (Hard Copies)

  • Printout of the E-Call letter.
  • Valid and latest photo identity proofs (preferably two in original) like Aadhaar, PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport, etc.
  • All relevant documents in original along with two sets of self-attested photocopies.
  • At least six recent passport-size photographs with a white background (not more than one month old).
  • Candidate's foil of the e-call letter for CBT-I and a copy of the application form.
  • Medical Examination Fee of Rs. 24/- in cash.

4. Post-DV Medical Examination

  • After successful DV, candidates will be directed to a nominated Railway Hospital for medical examination on the next working day.
  • Candidates should be prepared for a stay of at least four days at their own expense.
  • No fees are to be paid at the hospital/health unit, except in rare cases where specific tests are required at an external facility.
