This notice announces the result of the 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-I) and the provisional shortlisting of candidates for the 2nd Stage CBT for Non-Technical Popular Categories (Under-Graduate) posts against CEN No. 06/2024.

Examination Details

  • The 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-I) was conducted by the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) for NTPC posts against CEN No. 06/2024 during the period from August 07, 2025, to September 09, 2025.

Shortlisting Criteria

  • Candidates bearing the Roll Numbers listed in this notice have been provisionally shortlisted to appear in the 2nd Stage CBT.
  • Shortlisting has been done as per the merit in the 1st Stage CBT, considering candidates' order of preference for various posts.
  • Candidates who have availed reservation benefits (OBC(NCL)/SC/ST/EWS, PwBD, and ExSM) for the 2nd Stage CBT will continue to be considered under the respective reservation categories for all subsequent stages of the recruitment process.
  • The subsequent shortlisting for Document Verification will be based on the performance of candidates in the 2nd Stage CBT and, where applicable, the performance in CBTST.

2nd Stage CBT Information

  • The 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT) for various posts of Non-Technical Popular Categories (Under-Graduate) against CEN No. 06/2024 for the provisionally shortlisted candidates will be held soon.
  • The exact dates for the 2nd Stage CBT will be notified in due course.

Viewing Individual Results and Scorecards

  • Candidates can view their individual results/scorecards by logging into the RRB portal.
  • This facility will be available from November 21, 2025, at 05:00 PM onwards.
  • To view scores and qualifying status, candidates must enter their Registration Number and Date of Birth.
  • Upon logging in, candidates can also view their question paper, along with the correct answers marked among the four options.

Important Instructions and Warnings

  • The candidature of all qualified candidates for 2nd Stage CBT is purely provisional and is liable to be cancelled at any stage of recruitment or thereafter, in case of any inconsistency/deficiency in the furnished data or any malpractice coming to the notice of RRB.
  • Merely being called for the 2nd Stage CBT does not entitle a candidate to an appointment in the Railways.
  • While all care has been taken, RRB reserves the right to rectify any inadvertent errors or typographical/printing mistakes. No correspondence from unsuccessful candidates will be entertained.
  • Candidates are advised to regularly visit the RRB's official website for updates and information.
  • The Roll Numbers of the provisionally qualified candidates for 2nd Stage CBT are arranged horizontally in ascending order, not in order of merit.
  • Important: Candidates are strictly advised to beware of touts who may mislead them with false promises of selection through illegal means. The recruitment process in RRB exams is fully computerized and selection is based purely on merit.
