Document Verification and Medical Examination Schedule for Assistant Loco Pilot (CEN 01/2024)

This notice is for candidates provisionally shortlisted for Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination (ME) for the Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) posts advertised under CEN 01/2024. The shortlisting is based on performance in CBT-1, CBT-2, and CBAT.

DV and ME Schedule Overview

  • Scheduled Dates for DV: 13-10-2025 to 21-10-2025
  • Place of DV: Railway Recruitment Board Office, Railway Colony, Near Railway Station, Chandigarh
  • Reporting Time: 09:00 AM
  • Medical Examination: Will be conducted on the next working day after DV. Instructions regarding venue and reporting time for ME will be provided by DV officers after successful completion of DV.
  • Block Date for Absentees:

    • ME Date for Block Date candidates: 01-11-2025

Candidates are advised to carefully check their Roll Number under the scheduled date and read all instructions thoroughly.

Important Notes on Candidature

Candidature is purely provisional and subject to cancellation at any stage if any inconsistency, deficiency, discrepancy, or malpractice is found. Merely being shortlisted or called for DV/ME does not entitle a candidate to appointment. The RRB reserves the right to rectify inadvertent errors.

Schedule Details

The document provides a detailed schedule of roll numbers for DV on various dates from October 13, 2025, to October 21, 2025, along with the corresponding ME dates. A total of 322 candidates are scheduled for DV.

Block Date for Absentee Candidates

Candidates who fail to report for DV on their scheduled date with valid reasons (e.g., appearance in a University/Government examination or sickness supported by documentary evidence) will be given a second and final chance to attend DV on the block date.

  • DV Block Date: 31-10-2025, 09:00 AM, at RRB, Chandigarh office.
  • ME for Block Date Candidates: 01-11-2025, at the nominated Railway Hospital.

No fresh e-call letter will be sent for the block date; candidates can attend DV with the same e-call letter downloaded for the regular Document Verification.

Important Instructions

  1. General: Shortlisted candidates must thoroughly read and understand all instructions in Detailed Centralized Employment Notification No. 01/2024 (ALP) and its corrigendum. Keep a record of all information filled in the application form.

  2. Uploading of Softcopies & Personal Data on Portal:

    • Link: https://oirms-ir.gov.in/rrbdv/
    • Availability: The link will be live on the official website of RRB Chandigarh 10 days prior to the scheduled DV date.
    • Documents to Upload (scanned PDF, max 300 KB):
      • Latest photo, signature, identification marks, Aadhaar number.
      • E-Call Letter issued during CBT-I, CBT-II, and CBAT.
      • Matriculation (10th Class) certificate and mark sheet (single PDF).
      • Community Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS).
      • For OBC/EWS: Community Certificate valid as on the date of online application submission AND the current valid certificate (combined in a single PDF).
      • Affidavit for spelling discrepancies in names (candidate, father, mother, or other documents).
      • Diploma/Degree and all related Mark Sheets (semester-wise, single PDF).
      • Any other certificates/documents under 'Additional Documents' category.
    • Recommendation: Candidates are advised to keep all scanned copies on their Google Drive or pen drive.
  3. Downloading of E-Call Letter:

    • Link: www.rrbcdg.gov.in
    • Availability: 4 days prior to the scheduled DV date for each candidate.
    • Action: Download, print 2 copies, and carefully read all instructions.
    • Travel: Free travel authority will be provided to eligible SC/ST candidates as per rules.
  4. Hardcopies for DV: Candidates must bring the following at the time of Document Verification:

    • Printout of E-Call letter + Valid/Latest identity proofs (preferably 2 originals like Aadhaar, PAN, EPIC, Passport, DL, or any Govt. I-Card).
    • All relevant documents in original and 2 sets of self-attested photocopies.
    • At least 6 passport-size photographs with a white background (not older than one month).
    • Candidate's foil of e-call letter for CBT-I & II & a copy of the application form.
    • Rs. 24/- cash for Medical Examination Fee.
    • If certificates are not in Hindi/English, a self-attested translated version (in Hindi/English) must be produced. Certificates must be in the prescribed formats. No additional time will be given for missing original certificates.
  5. NOC from Employer of Serving Employees: Candidates serving in Central/State Government Departments (including Railways or PSUs) must produce an NOC from their employer on the DV date, failing which their candidature will be canceled.

  6. Place of DV: Document Verification will be conducted at the office of Railway Recruitment Board, Railway Colony, Near Railway Station, Chandigarh (Google Location: Near Prachin Shiv Mandir on Panchkula Side Station Road).

  7. Date of DV: Candidates can find their Roll Numbers tabulated under specific DV dates in the schedule.

  8. Time of DV: The reporting time will be 09:00 AM.

  9. Entry: Candidates are advised to reach well in time. Check roll numbers on the seating plan displayed at the main entrance of DV Hall. Entry will be allowed after verifying E-Call letter with ID proofs.

  10. Inside DV Hall: Candidates are advised to appear in a presentable outfit (preferable formals) and carry only necessary belongings. Mobile phones are strictly prohibited. Candidates must sit according to the seating plan and maintain discipline. Any unfair or disobedient activity will lead to disqualification.

  11. After DV: DV officials will generate a Medical Memo in two foils. A Medical Examination fee of Rs. 24/- will be collected from each verified candidate, and its receipt along with two passport-size photographs will be stapled to the memo. Candidates must affix thumb impressions, sign, and write their working mobile number on both foils. DV officials will collect the completed memos and brief candidates about the ME venue, date, time, and instructions.

  12. Medical Examination: After successful DV, candidates will be sent for a medical examination at the nominated Railway Hospital on the next working day. Candidates should be prepared to stay for more than four days for the DV/Medical examination at their own cost. No facilities are available for keeping belongings at Railway Hospitals; only original valid & current Photo ID proof is required. No fees or charges are to be paid to the hospitals/health unit for ME. In rare cases where advanced tests (CT scans, ultrasound, laser eye surgery) are required and not available at the Railway Hospital/Health Unit, candidates may need to make the necessary payment to external laboratories/hospitals.
