Notice Regarding Rescheduling of Computer Based Typing Skill Test (CBTST)

Reference: CEN No. 05/2024 (For Recruitment of Various Posts of NTPC Graduate Categories)

The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB) have issued a notice providing an option for rescheduling the Computer Based Typing Skill Test (CBTST) for candidates who appeared in the exam held on 28.12.2025.

Key Points:

  1. Background: Following representations from many candidates that their performance was impacted while trying to complete the paragraph, the board has clarified that transcripts of all candidates will be evaluated irrespective of whether they completed the paragraph or not.

  2. Rescheduling Option: Due to the issue, an option is being given to candidates who were present during the CBTST on 28.12.2025 to appear for a rescheduled CBTST.

  3. Consequences of Opting for Reschedule:

    • If a candidate opts for the rescheduled CBTST, their previous transcript from the test on 28.12.2025 will not be evaluated.
    • Only the performance in the rescheduled CBTST will be considered for preparing the merit list of qualified candidates.
  4. How to Opt-in: Candidates wishing to opt for the rescheduled CBTST must log in to the Login Page. The link for this will be provided separately.

  5. Absence in Rescheduled Exam: If a candidate opts for the rescheduled CBTST but remains absent, they will be marked absent for the CBTST, even if they had appeared for the test on 28.12.2025.

  6. Date of Rescheduled Exam: The date and time of the rescheduled CBTST will be notified in due course.
