Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), Malda has issued a notice for candidates who were shortlisted for the post of Assistant Loco Pilot (Level-2) against CEN 01/2024 and subsequently found medically unfit after Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination.
Following the medical examination at Divisional Railway Hospital, Malda, a list of candidates has been declared 'Unfit in A1' medical standard. These candidates are now given an option to appeal against the medical report.
As per Railway Board's letter No. 2014/H/5/8/(Policy) dated 07/07/2017, candidates wishing to appeal the medical report must follow the procedure outlined below:

Medical Certificate: The appeal will only be considered if the candidate produces a medical certificate from a Government/Private Doctor of the Specialist/Specialities in which the candidate has been found unfit. The certificate must explicitly state that the specialist is aware of the physical and visual standards required by the Railways for the specific medical category and that the candidate was previously declared unfit against these standards by a medical board.
