Application and Information Details
Full details of eligibility, ward-wise vacancies, and reservation are available on the notice boards of the Collectorate, Vikas Bhawan, District Program Office, Tehsil, Nagar Palika/Nagar Panchayat Vikas Khand, and all Child Development Project Officer offices. The information is also available on the Anganwadi recruitment portal upanganwadibharti.in. Additionally, applicants can obtain information regarding vacancies from the respective Child Development Project Officer's office or the District Program Office during working days.
Eligibility and Special Application Instructions
- Only female candidates are eligible for the advertised posts.
- The entire selection process will adhere to the procedures outlined in Government Order No. 1/1092245/2025/3313/58-1-2025 (1917687) dated 17.09.2025, issued by the Child Development Department and Nutrition, U.P. This government order can be obtained from the official website of the U.P. Government.
- The minimum educational qualification for Anganwadi Assistant is Intermediate (12th grade) or equivalent.
- The minimum age for Anganwadi Assistant posts is 18 years, and the maximum age is 35 years as on 01 July 2025. The date of birth recorded in the High School mark sheet and certificate will be considered valid.
- Applicants must be residents of the same Gram Sabha or the same ward in the urban area where the vacancy exists.
- For widowed candidates, a certified copy of the husband's death certificate and family register issued by the Gram Panchayat Officer/concerned Nagar Nikay will be valid.
- For divorced/abandoned candidates, a valid legal order issued by a competent court will be accepted.
- For income verification, an income certificate issued by a competent authority, as per Uttar Pradesh Government Revenue Section-9, Government Order No. 3959/1-9-11-Raj-9 dated 30.09.2011 (as amended), will be valid, provided its online verification is possible.
- For residence and caste certificates, only online digitally signed certificates issued by the Tehsil will be valid, provided their online verification is possible.
- If more than one eligible candidate is available in the same category, a merit list will be prepared. The merit for Anganwadi Assistant posts will be prepared based on minimum educational qualification (Intermediate or equivalent) and maximum educational qualification (Post-Graduate).
- The marks obtained by the candidate will be calculated by dividing the percentage by 10 (e.g., 45% marks in Intermediate = 4.5 marks, 59% marks = 5.9 marks).
- Grading and CGPA marks will be calculated similarly. Calculations will be done up to three decimal places, with no rounding after the decimal point.
- Application forms must be filled online carefully and correctly on the departmental website's provided format. Self-attested copies of documents, which are clean and legible, should be uploaded as mentioned in the online form.
- Offline applications or applications sent by post will not be accepted.
- If any error, fact/data, or educational qualification marks/total are incorrectly or fraudulently entered, the candidature will be cancelled.
- The last date for online application for the advertised posts is 01.12.2025, until midnight.
- The selection process will be conducted entirely online through the portal as per government guidelines. No written examination or interview will be held.
- As per Government Order No. 1/1092245/2025/3313/58-1-2025 (1917687) dated 17.09.2025, regarding the current selection of Anganwadi Workers/Assistants, reservation for EWS, Persons with Disabilities, and Freedom Fighter dependents is not applicable for these vacant posts.
- The number of vacancies may increase or decrease, which will be displayed on the website.
- For Child Development Project City Deoria, "Roniaari Tola Ward No.-27" should be read as "Roniaari Tola Ward No.-29".
Important Instructions for Online Application

- During online application, application numbers, registration numbers, issue dates, etc., for certificate numbers of educational marks, income, caste, and residence certificates will be verified online by the portal. In case of any incorrect entry, candidature will be automatically cancelled, and the applicant will be solely responsible.
- The entire selection process for Anganwadi Assistants will be based on online applications received on the departmental portal, and the merit process and priority will be given as per government order.
