Corrigendum No. 5 for Recruitment of NTPC Graduate Categories (CEN No. 05/2024)

This notice serves as a corrigendum to the special instructions for the Computer Based Typing Skill Test (CBTST) that were uploaded on the RRB website on 22.12.2025. The following items are to be read as amended:

Item No. 2: Selection of Typing Language

Existing: The candidates will have to type in English or Hindi. English will be the typing language as a default option. Candidates who will type in Hindi for Typing Test must be familiar with the usage of Krutidev or Mangal font.

To be read as: The candidates will have to type in English or Hindi, as per the option exercised by them on RRB websites. English will be the Typing Language for those who have not exercised their option. Candidates who have opted for Hindi for the Typing Test must be familiar with the usage of Krutidev or Mangal font.

Procedure and Link for Selection of Typing Language:

  1. Login to the portal using your credentials.
  2. Click on the “Language for CBTST” tab.
  3. Select the Plus(+) icon to expand the options.
  4. Select the Language Preference for Typing Skill Test (English/Hindi).
  5. Click “Submit” to confirm and save your selection.

Item No. 3: Exam Session Structure

Existing: The exam session consists of three parts: (i) Typing practice for one minute to warm up & familiarize with the keyboard, (ii) Break of 30 seconds, and (iii) Typing Test for 10 minutes which will be taken for evaluation.
