The Directorate of Women and Child Development, Madhya Pradesh, has released a notification for the recruitment of Anganwadi Workers and Anganwadi Helpers for various districts. These positions are temporary and honorarium-based. Eligible female candidates can apply online through the MP Online portal.

Vacancy Details

A total of 2027 posts for Anganwadi Workers and 17477 posts for Anganwadi Helpers are to be filled across various districts of Madhya Pradesh. The district-wise breakdown is as follows:

Eligibility Criteria

1. Residency:

  • For rural areas, the applicant must be a resident of the same revenue village where the vacancy exists.
  • For urban areas, the applicant must be a resident of the same ward where the vacancy exists.
  • Candidates from other villages/wards are not eligible to apply.

2. Educational Qualification:

  • The mandatory educational qualification for both Anganwadi Worker and Anganwadi Helper is Higher Secondary (12th Class) pass.

3. Age Limit:

  • The applicant's age must be between 18 and 35 years as of January 1, 2025.

Application Process

  • Applications will be accepted only through the online mode on the MP Online 'Chayan Portal'.
  • The application window will be open for 10 days from the date of publication of the advertisement.
  • Candidates must upload all required documents in PDF format while filling out the application form.
  • After submission, candidates should keep a printout of the application for their records. No modifications will be allowed after the specified period.
  • Applications sent directly to the Directorate, Divisional offices, or District offices will not be accepted.

Application Fee

  • The application fee is ₹100, plus 18% GST.
