Refund of Examination Fee and Updation of Bank Account Details for CEN No. RRC - 01/2019 (Level-1 Posts)

Introduction

Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have initiated the refund of the examination fee for candidates who attended the Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted from 17.08.2022 to 11.10.2022 for Level-1 posts against CEN No. RRC – 01/2019.

Requirement for Bank Account Updation

As the applications were received four years ago, many changes may have occurred in candidates' bank account details. Additionally, issues like multiple payments from a single account and changes in IFSC codes due to bank mergers have been observed. To ensure the refund is credited to the correct account, RRBs are providing a one-time opportunity for candidates to update their bank details.

Bank Account Update Facility

An 'Update Bank Account Link' will be available on the official websites of all RRBs.

  • Start Date: 14/04/2023, 10:00 AM
  • End Date: 30/04/2023, 05:00 PM

Candidates are advised to use this opportunity to update their Bank Account Details if there have been any changes.

Important Instructions

  • Candidates must ensure that the Bank Account Number and IFSC Code entered are correct. It is advised to carefully check the details before submission.
  • No modification of bank details will be possible after final submission.
  • The RRBs will not be responsible for any failure of refund due to incorrect details provided by the candidate.
  • The updated bank details will also be used for refunding fees for candidates whose objections to questions/answers were found correct, as per RRB Notice dated 13.10.2022.

Key Points to Note

  • Last date for submission of Bank Details: 30.04.2023 (17:00 hrs).
  • The refund (after deduction of bank charges) is subject to the verification of candidate particulars with RRB records.
  • Incorrect, incomplete, or late claims will be summarily rejected.
  • Only one refund will be processed per bank account.
  • A Help Desk will be available for clarifications, and a Forgot Registration Menu will be provided for candidates who have lost their Registration Number.
