Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Trade Apprentice (Fitter/Electrician/Electronics Mechanic/Instrument Mechanic/Machinist): Matric with regular full-time 2-year ITI in the relevant trade recognized by NCVT/SCVT.
- Technician Apprentice (Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation/Civil/Electrical & Electronics/Electronics): 3 years regular full-time Diploma in the respective Engineering discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates).
- Graduate Apprentice (BBA/BA/B.Com/B.Sc.): Regular full-time Graduate in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates).
- Trade Apprentice - Data Entry Operator (Fresher): Class 12th pass (but below graduate).
- Trade Apprentice - Data Entry Operator (Skilled Certificate Holders): Class 12th pass (but below graduate) with a Skill Certificate of 'Domestic Data Entry Operator' recognized under the National Skill Qualifications Framework.
Note: Qualifications acquired through part-time, correspondence, or distance learning modes are not eligible.
Age Limit (as on 31.12.2025)
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 24 years
- Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC-NCL, and 10 years for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD). Additional relaxations apply for PwBD candidates from reserved categories.
Stipend
The rate of stipend will be as prescribed under the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 and associated rules. An additional amount of ₹2500/- per month will be paid as miscellaneous expenses.
Selection Methodology
- Selection will be based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the prescribed qualifying examination.
- There will be no written test or interview.
- A merit list will be prepared for each discipline. In case of a tie, the candidate older in age will be preferred. If the date of birth is also the same, the candidate with higher marks in matriculation will be considered.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification and must undergo a pre-engagement medical examination.

- After applying on the NAPS/NATS portal, candidates MUST also submit their details along with preferred State and three preferred locations in the Microsoft Office Form available at:

- Failure to submit the Microsoft Form will lead to the rejection of the candidature.
- Candidates can apply for only one discipline code.
