Recruitment for Anganwadi Sahayika (Helper) Posts

This notice announces the recruitment for vacant Anganwadi Sahayika (Helper) posts in Anganwadi centers operating under urban and rural projects in Kanpur Nagar district. These are contractual positions based on honorarium. Applications are invited from eligible female candidates through the official website: http://upanganwadibharti.in. This recruitment is in accordance with Government Order No. 1/1092245/2025/3313/58-1-2025(1917687) dated September 17, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria and Application Instructions

  1. Gender: Only female candidates are eligible to apply.
  2. Educational Qualification:
    • Minimum: Intermediate (12th grade) or equivalent.
    • Maximum: Postgraduate.
    • Merit list will be prepared based on these qualifications.
  3. Age Limit:
    • Minimum: 18 years.
    • Maximum: 35 years.
    • Age will be calculated as of July 1, 2025. The date of birth recorded in the High School marksheet/certificate will be considered valid.
  4. Residency: The applicant must be a permanent resident of the same Gram Sabha/Ward (in urban areas) for which she is applying. Applications from other Gram Sabhas/Wards will not be accepted.
  5. Application Process:
    • Applications must be submitted online through the format available on the official website: http://upanganwadibharti.in.
    • Self-attested, clear, and readable copies of required documents must be uploaded.
    • Offline applications will not be accepted.
    • Incorrect or incomplete applications will be rejected, and the applicant will be solely responsible. No offline corrections will be considered.
  6. Application Deadline: The last date for online application is December 06, 2025.

Additional Important Instructions

  1. Income Certificate:
    • For rural areas, the annual income limit for Below Poverty Line (BPL) candidates is Rs. 46,080.
    • For urban areas, the annual income limit for BPL candidates is Rs. 56,460.
    • Income certificates must be issued by the competent authority and verifiable online. This is as per Government Order No. 22/2015/2123/26-2-2015 dated September 14, 2015, and Revenue Department Government Order No. 3959/1-9-11-Raj0-9 dated September 30, 2011 (as amended) of Uttar Pradesh Government.
  2. Residence and Caste Certificates: Residence and Caste certificates must be digitally signed online by the Tehsildar and be verifiable online.
  3. Family Limit: Only one woman from a single family can be appointed as Anganwadi Sahayika at one center.
  4. Selection Priority: Selection preference for Anganwadi Sahayika posts will be given in the following order:
    • Priority 1 (Same Gram Sabha/Ward): BPL Widow -> Legally Divorced/Abandoned -> Other BPL Women.
    • Priority 2 (Same Gram Sabha/Ward): APL Widow -> Legally Divorced/Abandoned -> Other APL Women.
    • Priority 3 (Concerned Nyaya Panchayat): If no eligible candidates are available from the above categories within the same Gram Sabha/Ward, selection will be made from the concerned Nyaya Panchayat following the same priority order.
  5. Divorce/Abandonment Proof: Legal orders issued by the Hon'ble Court will be valid for divorced/abandoned women.
  6. Widow Proof: Certificates issued by the Gram Panchayat Officer/concerned Municipal Corporation/Local Body and certified copy of the family register will be valid for widows.
  7. Vacancy Changes: The number of advertised vacancies may be subject to increase or decrease under special circumstances.
