Railway Recruitment Board, Gorakhpur has announced the schedule for the Teaching Skill Test for shortlisted candidates. The test will be conducted from 19/01/2026 to 24/01/2026.

Important Instructions for Candidates

1. The schedule is tentative. RRB reserves the right to change the schedule (Date & Venue) under administrative/unforeseen circumstances.
2. Candidates will be given a maximum of 90 minutes to prepare. They may use a power-point presentation or any other teaching aid available at the venue.
3. The skill test duration will be between 15 to 30 minutes as decided by the committee. The test will be of 150 marks. There will be no minimum qualifying marks. However, the weightage of the Teaching Skill Test shall be 15% of the total marks.
4. The Teaching Skill Test will be based on Teaching Ability, Teaching Methodology, Content Expertise, Appropriateness of Material, Communication Skill, Presentation Skill, Classroom Management, and other related qualities.
5. The Teaching Skill Test may be video-graphed if required by the Chairperson.
6. Topics for the test will be decided by the committee on the spot.
7. Candidates are advised to visit the official website of Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) for further details and updates.
8. Candidates are warned against touts who may misguide with false promises. The recruitment process is fully computerized and selection is based purely on merit.
