This notice provides special instructions for candidates appearing for the Computer Based Typing Skill Test (CBTST) for the recruitment of various Non-Technical Popular Categories (Under Graduate) posts under CEN 06/2024.
The exam session consists of three parts:
No. of full mistakes + (No. of half mistakes / 2) = Total MistakesTotal Mistakes - 5% of total words typed = Final count of mistakesThe typing speed is calculated using the following formula:
Typing Speed = [No. of total words typed – (Final count of mistake x 10)] / Time
Example: If a candidate types 400 words in 10 minutes and has 10 final mistakes, the speed will be:
(400 - (10x10)) / 10 = 300 / 10 = 30 w.p.m.
