The Press Information Bureau has issued a press note regarding the recommendation of one additional candidate from the reserve list for the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2024.
The initial result for the Civil Services Examination, 2024 was declared on 22.04.2025, recommending 1009 candidates for 1129 vacancies in various services including Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, and Indian Police Service. A consolidated reserve list was also prepared.
On 28.10.2025, at the request of the Department of Personnel and Training, the Commission had released a reserved list of 114 candidates.
Now, upon a further request from the Department of Personnel and Training, the Commission has recommended one additional candidate from the General Category to fill a remaining vacancy from the reserved list. The concerned candidate will be directly informed by the Department of Personnel and Training.
