Resolution of Tie Cases

As per para 42 of the Notice for Examination, in cases where more than one candidate secures equal aggregate marks, ties are resolved by applying the following methods in order until the tie is resolved:

  1. Date of birth, with older candidates placed higher.
  2. Alphabetical order of the names of the candidates.
  3. Alphabetical order of the names of the father of the candidates.

Important Information

  • The list of recommended candidates is purely provisional. Their selection is subject to fulfilling all eligibility conditions prescribed in the Notice of the Examination and thorough verification of their identity with reference to their photograph, signatures, handwritings etc. on the Application Forms, Admission Certificates etc.
  • Representations received from candidates regarding the Answer Keys were carefully examined. Answer Keys were modified where necessary before preparing the final Answer Keys, which were used for evaluation.
  • Final answer keys and marks of both qualified and non-qualified candidates will be uploaded on the Commission's website shortly.
