Notification for Direct Recruitment of Anganwadi Sahayikas (Helpers)

This notification is issued to inform the general public about the direct recruitment process for contractual vacant posts of Anganwadi Sahayikas on an honorarium basis in urban/rural areas of Amethi district. This recruitment is being conducted as per Government Order No. 2025/3313/58-1-2025 (1917687) dated 17.09.2025 issued by the Principal Secretary, Child Development Services & Nutrition, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow. Online application forms are invited through the departmental website https://www.upanganwadibharti.in.

Special Instructions for Eligibility and Application:

  1. Only female candidates are eligible for the advertised posts.
  2. The minimum educational qualification for the post of Anganwadi Sahayika will be Intermediate (12th pass) or equivalent. Merit will be prepared based on the highest educational qualification, up to postgraduate level.
  3. The minimum age for the applicant Anganwadi Sahayika will be 18 years, and the maximum age will be 35 years as of 01.07.2025. The date of birth recorded in the High School mark sheet/certificate will be considered valid.
  4. Not more than two women from the same family will be appointed as Anganwadi Worker and Helper in one Anganwadi center.
  5. Preference in Selection:
    • First preference will be given to widows/legally divorced/abandoned women from families living below the poverty line (BPL) residing in the same Gram Sabha/Ward (in urban areas).
    • If no such candidate is found, then other BPL women from the same Gram Sabha/Ward will be given preference.
    • If no BPL candidates are found, then widows/legally divorced/abandoned women from families living above the poverty line (APL) from the same Gram Sabha/Ward will be given preference.
    • If no APL candidates are found, then other APL women from families living above the poverty line from the same Gram Sabha/Ward will be given preference.
  6. For Widows: Death certificate issued by the Gram Panchayat Officer/concerned Nagar Nikay and a certified copy of the family register will be considered valid. For divorced/abandoned women, a valid legal order issued by the competent Hon'ble Court will be accepted.
  7. Residence and Caste Certificates: Certificates issued with online digital signatures by the Tehsildar regarding residence and caste will be valid, subject to online verification.
  8. Income Certificate: Income certificates issued by the competent authority as per Government Order No. 3959/1-9-11-Raj-9 dated 30.09.2011 (as amended) from Revenue Section-9, Uttar Pradesh, will be valid, subject to online verification.
  9. Poverty Line Income Limit: The income limit for the poverty line in rural and urban areas will be followed as per Government Order No. 22/2015/2123/26-2-2025 dated 14.09.2015 (as amended) from Social Welfare Section-2, Uttar Pradesh.
  10. Applications must be filled online carefully and correctly on the format available on the departmental website https://www.upanganwadibharti.in. Self-attested, clean, and readable copies of documents, as specified in the online form, must be uploaded. No application or documents submitted offline or by post will be accepted. If any error, fact, data, or educational marks/grades are found to be incorrect or forged, the candidature will be rejected.
