3rd Round Document Verification and Medical Examination Schedule

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), Muzaffarpur, has released the schedule for the 3rd round of Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination for one provisionally shortlisted candidate for the post of Nursing Superintendent under CEN No. 04/2024.

Important Instructions for Candidates

  1. Document Upload: Candidates must upload the required documents to the RRB Document Verification portal at https://oirms-ir.gov.in/rrbdv/. The portal will be active for 10 days prior to the date of DV and will close on the DV date.
  2. e-Call Letter: SMS/email alerts are being sent to registered mobile numbers and email IDs for downloading the e-call letter from the RRB website.
  3. Documents to Bring: Candidates must produce all original documents along with two sets of photocopies in A4 size, as detailed in the CEN and the e-call letter. Additionally, candidates must bring six passport-size color photographs (not more than one month old) and the candidate's foil of the CBT e-call letter.
  4. Discrepancy in Names: In case of variations in spelling in the candidate's name or father's name between the online application and original documents, the candidate must submit a relevant affidavit executed before a Magistrate or Notary on required stamp paper.
  5. Medical Examination: The medical examination will be conducted on the next working day after the DV at a Railway hospital. Candidates will be informed of the hospital details after the DV. A prescribed medical fee of Rs. 24/- is payable. Additional charges may apply for special investigations like CT scans or ultrasounds if required and not available at the Railway Hospital.
  6. Block Date for Absentees: The block date of 30.01.2026 is for absentee candidates. Failure to report on the scheduled date will lead to the rejection of candidature unless supported by documentary evidence of appearing in a University/Government examination or due to sickness.
  7. Provisional Candidature: The shortlisting is purely provisional and subject to cancellation if any inconsistency, deficiency, or malpractice is detected at any stage.
  8. Disclaimer: Shortlisting for DV does not entitle a candidate to an appointment in the Railways. The selection is based purely on merit.
  9. Warning: Candidates are advised to beware of touts who may make false promises of selection. The RRB recruitment process is fully computerized.
