  • Department: Directorate of Education
  • Number of Vacancies: Total 744 (UR: 319, OBC: 158, SC: 127, ST: 34, EWS: 106). PwBD: 52 (Category (a) B, LV (b) HH (c) OA, OL, OAL, CP, LC, Dw, AAV (d) ASD(M, MoD), SLD, MI (e) MD involving (a) to (d) above).
  • Educational Qualification (Essential):
    1. A Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics with at least 50% marks from a recognized University/Institute (Mathematics must have been studied for at least 2 years); OR Master's Degree in Mathematics with at least 50% marks in either bachelor's or master's degree; OR a 4-year integrated programme/course/degree of B.EI.ED/B.Sc.B.Ed/B.A.B.Ed from any NCTE recognized Institution (Mathematics must have been studied for at least 3 years).
    2. B.Ed or three-year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed from a recognized University/Institute (No Separate B.Ed/B.Ed-M.Ed. is required for 4-year integrated courses).
    3. Pass in the Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by CBSE.
    • Notes for TGT (Mathematics): Candidates must have studied Mathematics as a subject. Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of DSSSB/Competent Authority.
  • Experience: Essential: NIL, Desirable: NIL
  • Pay Scale: ₹ 44,900 - 1,42,400/- (Pay Level – 7), Group: 'B' (General Central Service, Non-Ministerial, Non-Gazetted)
  • Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years.
    • Relaxable for government servants up to 5 years.
    • Age Relaxation will be given as per para -7 (Tabulated - Category-wise) of this Advertisement.
    • Relaxation for contractual employees of the same department: up to the actual time spent as contractual employee, subject to a maximum of 5 years, provided they have worked for at least 120 working days in that particular year.
