Result of 1st Stage Computer Based test (CBT-I) and Shortlisting of candidates for 2nd Stage CBT on the basis of 1st Stage Computer based test (CBT)

  1. The 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT) for NTPC posts (CEN 05/2024) was conducted by Railway Recruitment Boards from June 05, 2025, to June 24, 2025.
  2. Candidates with the Roll Numbers listed in this notice have been provisionally shortlisted for the 2nd Stage CBT.
  3. Shortlisting was based on merit in the 1st stage CBT and candidates' order of preference for various posts.
  4. Candidates shortlisted for 2nd Stage CBT, availing reservation benefits (OBC(NCL)/SC/ST/EWS, PwBD, and ExSM), will continue to be considered under these categories for all subsequent recruitment stages.
  5. Further shortlisting for Document Verification will be based on performance in the 2nd Stage CBT and, where applicable, in CBAT/TST.
  6. The 2nd Stage CBT for CEN 05/2024 is tentatively scheduled for the 3rd week of October 2025. Provisionally qualified candidates will receive an SMS/Email about their Exam City Intimation approximately 10 days prior to the 2nd Stage CBT. The e-call letter will be available for download 4 days before the CBT date.
  7. Candidates can view their individual scores and qualifying status for the 2nd Stage CBT by logging in on the official RRB website with their Registration Number and Date of Birth. The question paper, along with the correct answers, will also be visible. Candidature of all qualified candidates is provisional and subject to cancellation due to inconsistency/deficiency in data or malpractice. Mere shortlisting for 2nd Stage CBT does not guarantee appointment in the Railways.
  8. While utmost care has been taken in preparing this list, RRB reserves the right to rectify any inadvertent errors or typographical/printing mistakes. No correspondence from unsuccessful candidates will be entertained.
  9. Candidates are advised to regularly visit the official RRB websites for updates. The Roll Numbers of provisionally qualified candidates for 2nd stage CBT are arranged horizontally in ascending order, not in order of merit.

Important: Beware of touts making false promises of jobs for illegal consideration. The RRB recruitment process is fully computerized and selection is strictly merit-based. Refer to official RRB websites for legitimate updates.
