Schedule for Document Verification & Medical Examination

This notice announces the Round-IV schedule for Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination for candidates shortlisted under CEN No. 02/2024 (Technician-III).

Date and Time of DV for Technician -III:

• 03-11-2025 at 09.30 Hrs.

Shortlisted Candidates: A list of 05 (Five) candidates has been shortlisted for this round.

Venue: Office of the Railway Recruitment Board, Railway Station Road, Gorakhpur-273012 (UP)

Important Instructions:

1. E-Call Letter: Candidates must bring the e-call letter for document verification, which can be downloaded from the official website of RRB Gorakhpur (www.rrbgkp.gov.in). The e-call letter contains a list of required original documents (back side/2nd page).
2. Documents: Candidates are required to produce all original documents along with two sets of self-attested photocopies during DV. Where certificates are not in English/Hindi, a self-attested translated version should be produced. Documents must be in prescribed formats. Failure to produce original certificates on the DV date will lead to forfeiture/cancellation of candidature.
3. Photographs: Bring six (6) passport-size colour photographs (NOT MORE THAN ONE MONTH OLD) for DV and Medical Examination. Candidates should also bring their Candidate's foil of e-call letter for CBT-1.
4. Prohibited Items: Mobile phones are not permitted during Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination.
5. Medical Test: Candidates need to attend a Medical Test (Examination) after DV, paying an examination fee of Rs. 24/-. The date and place of Medical Examination will be intimated at the time of DV, and an Admit Card for Medical Test will be issued. Candidates should be prepared to stay for more than 4 days for DV/Medical examination at their own cost.
6. Belongings: Candidates are advised not to bring their belongings to the Railway Hospitals as no facility is available to keep them. They will carry only Admit card for Medical Test (Examination) and one original valid & current Photo ID and Address ID proof. For medical examination, no fees will be charged at the Hospital; candidates are advised not to carry cash.

Block Date for Absentee Candidates

Date: 14-11-2025 at 10.00 hrs. Candidates who fail to report for DV on their assigned dates due to valid reasons (University/Government examination or sickness) will be given a second and final chance to appear for DV at the office of RRB Gorakhpur. No fresh e-call letter will be sent; candidates can attend with the same e-call letter uploaded for the regular DV. Failure to report on the scheduled block date without valid documentary evidence will result in rejection of candidature.
