Document Verification and Medical Examination Schedule

This notice, bearing No. 67/2025 and dated 14-12-2025, is issued by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), Gorakhpur, under the Government of India, Ministry of Railways. It pertains to the Round-III schedule for Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination (ME) for candidates shortlisted under CEN No. 01/2024 (ALP).

Instructions for Document Verification

1. e-Call Letter: Candidates must bring their e-call letter for document verification, which can be downloaded from the official RRB Gorakhpur website (www.rrbgkp.gov.in). The e-call letter must be produced at the entry of the DV venue.
2. Documents Required:
   • All original documents along with two sets of self-attested photocopies of all documents.
   • One original valid and current Photo ID proof and Address ID proof (as presented during CBTs).
   • Refer to the e-call letter (back side/2nd page) for a detailed list of required documents.
   • Certificates not in English/Hindi must be accompanied by a self-attested translated version (in Hindi/English).
   • All certificates must be in prescribed formats. Failure to produce original certificates on the DV date will lead to forfeiture/cancellation of candidature.
3. Photographs: Bring six (6) passport-size colour photographs, not more than one month old.
4. CBT-1 e-Call Letter Foil: Candidates must also bring their candidate's foil of the e-call letter for CBT-1.
5. Prohibited Items: Mobile phones are strictly not permitted during DV and ME.

Medical Examination (ME) Details

1. Attendance: Candidates must attend the Medical Test/Examination after Document Verification.
2. Medical Examination Fee: A fee of Rs. 24/- is payable towards the medical examination at the DV venue.
3. Intimation: The date and place of the Medical Examination will be intimated at the time of DV. The admit card for the Medical Test will also be issued at that time.
4. Accommodation: Candidates are advised to be prepared to stay for more than 4 days for the combined DV/ME process.
5. Hospital Guidelines: Candidates should not bring personal belongings to Railway Hospitals as no facility is available to keep them. For medical examination, carry only the Admit card for Medical Test, one original valid & current Photo ID, and Address ID proof. No fees will be charged at the hospital for ME, so candidates are advised not to carry cash.

Block Date for Absentee Candidates

• Date: 12-01-2026 at 10:00 Hrs.
• This is a second and final opportunity for candidates who failed to report for Document Verification on their assigned regular dates due to valid reasons.
• Conditions for Acceptance: Absences will only be considered if supported by documentary evidence, such as appearance in a University/Government examination or sickness. No other reason for absence will be accepted.
• Failure to report on the block date will result in rejection of candidature.
• No fresh e-call letter will be sent for the block date; candidates can use their regular DV e-call letter.

• Important Warning: Candidates are cautioned against touts making false promises of selection. The recruitment process is fully computerized, and selection is based purely on merit.
