The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), Gorakhpur has released the result for the 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-II) and the list of candidates shortlisted for the Computer Based Typing Skill Test (CBTST) for the Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) Under-Graduate posts under CEN No. 06/2024.

Key Information

  • Exam Conducted: The 2nd Stage CBT-II was conducted on 20th December 2025.
  • Shortlisting Basis: Candidates have been provisionally shortlisted for the CBTST based on their merit in the 2nd Stage CBT. The shortlisting is category-wise and based on the candidate's marks in CBT-II, provided they scored more than the cut-off marks in CBT-I for their respective community.
  • Next Stage: Shortlisted candidates will appear for the CBTST. The date for the CBTST will be notified in due course. The final shortlisting for Document Verification will be based on the combined performance in both the 2nd Stage CBT and the CBTST (as applicable).
  • Reservation: Candidates who availed reservation benefits (OBC(NCL)/SC/ST/EWS, PwBD, and ExSM) for being shortlisted for CBTST will continue to be considered under their respective reserved categories for all subsequent stages.

Viewing Scores and Results

Candidates can view their individual results, scorecards, and qualifying status by logging into the official RRB portal using their Registration Number and Date of Birth. This facility, which also allows viewing the question paper with the correct answers, will be available from 07:00 PM on 23.01.2026 onwards.

  • The candidature of all qualified candidates is purely provisional and is liable to be cancelled at any stage of recruitment if any inconsistency or malpractice is found.
  • Merely being called for the CBTST does not entitle a candidate to an appointment in the Railways.
  • While care has been taken in preparing the list, RRB reserves the right to rectify any inadvertent errors or typographical mistakes.
  • The roll numbers of provisionally qualified candidates are arranged horizontally in ascending order and not in order of merit.
  • A total of 156 candidates have been shortlisted.
  • Candidates are advised to beware of touts who may make false promises of selection. The RRB recruitment process is fully computerized, and selection is based solely on merit.
