This notice is issued by the District Program Officer, ICDS, Sitapur, to inform the general public about direct recruitment for Anganwadi Worker posts in urban and rural areas of Sitapur district. The recruitment is based on an honorarium, following Government Order No. 1/1092245/2025/3313/58-1-2025 (1917687) dated September 17, 2025. This information will also be uploaded on the departmental website http://upanganwadibharti.in.
Special Instructions for Eligibility and Application
- Only female candidates are eligible for the advertised posts.
- The minimum educational qualification for Anganwadi Worker posts is Intermediate (12th Pass), and the maximum is Post-graduation. Merit will be prepared based on educational qualifications.
- Applicants must be permanent residents of the Gramsabha/Ward (urban) corresponding to the vacant post. Applications from other Gramsabha/Wards will not be considered valid.
- Applicant's age should be a minimum of 18 years and a maximum of 35 years as of 01.07.2025 (cut-off date).
- Date of birth mentioned in the High School marksheet and certificate will be considered valid for age verification.
- Applications for the advertised posts will only be accepted online through the departmental website http://upanganwadibharti.in within the specified timeframe. Offline applications will not be accepted under any circumstances.
- Online applications can be submitted from November 11, 2025, to December 01, 2025, until midnight.
- The number of advertised vacant posts may increase or decrease under special circumstances.

- If any errors are found in the application, or if any facts/data/educational marks are incorrect or fabricated, the candidature will be canceled. The applicant will be solely responsible. No offline applications for correction will be considered.
- Income Certificate: As per Government Order No. 22/2015/2123/26-2-2015 dated September 14, 2015, issued by Social Welfare Section-2, U.P. Government, the annual income limit is ₹46,080.00 for rural areas and ₹56,460.00 for urban areas. Online verified digitally signed income certificates issued by Tehsil will be accepted. (Reference: Government Order No. 3959/1-9-11-राज0-9 dated 30.09.2011, as amended, issued by Revenue Section-9, Uttar Pradesh Government).
- Caste and Domicile Certificates: Online verified digitally signed domicile and caste certificates issued by Tehsil will be accepted.
Selection Priority for Anganwadi Helper Posts
The selection priority for Anganwadi Helper posts will be as follows:
- (I) Widows (BPL) from the same Gramsabha/Ward (urban area).
- (II) Divorced/Abandoned (BPL) from the same Gramsabha/Ward (urban area).
- (III) BPL candidates from the same Gramsabha/Ward (urban area).
- (IV) Widows (APL) from the same Gramsabha/Ward (urban area).
- (V) Divorced/Abandoned (APL) from the same Gramsabha/Ward (urban area).
- (VI) APL candidates from the same Gramsabha/Ward (urban area).
Note:
- (I) For widows, a certificate issued by the Gram Panchayat Officer/concerned Nagar Nikay and a certified copy of the family register will be considered valid.
- (II) For divorced/abandoned individuals, a legal/court order is mandatory.
