Schedule for 2nd Round Document Verification and Medical Examination for the Post of Assistant Loco Pilot

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), Ranchi, has announced the schedule for the 2nd round of Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination for the post of Assistant Loco Pilot. This round is being conducted to fill the shortfall in empanelment due to absenteeism, rejection, or unfitness in the prescribed Medical Standard from the previous round.

  • Dates: 09.02.2026 to 11.02.2026
  • Venue: Railway Recruitment Board, Ranchi

  • Block Date for Absentees: 25.02.2026

Important Instructions for Candidates

  1. E-Call Letters: SMS/email alerts will be sent to registered mobile numbers/email IDs for downloading the e-call letter from the RRB's website.
  2. Document Upload: Candidates must upload clear images of all documents, a colour scanned copy of their passport size photograph, and their signature on the RRB Document Verification portal: https://oirms-ir.gov.in/rrbdv/. The portal will be active for uploading 7 to 10 days prior to the date of DV and will close on the date of DV.
  3. Required Documents: Candidates must bring all original certificates/documents along with two sets of photocopies in A4 size paper, as detailed in the CEN and the e-call letter.
  4. Photographs: Six passport-size colour photographs, not more than one month old, are required.
  5. Previous E-Call Letters: Bring the candidate's foil of the e-call letter for CBT 1, CBT 2 & CBAT, wherever applicable.
  6. Name Discrepancy: In case of variations in spelling in names, candidates must submit a relevant affidavit executed before a Magistrate or Notary on required stamp papers.
  7. Medical Examination: After DV, candidates will be sent for a Medical Examination at nominated Railway Hospitals. Candidates must be prepared for a stay of four to five days and pay a medical fee of Rs. 24/-.
  8. Absenteeism: Failure to report on the scheduled date will lead to rejection of candidature unless it is due to appearing in a University/Government examination or sickness, supported by documentary evidence. No fresh e-call letter will be issued for the block date.

  • Candidature is purely provisional and subject to cancellation at any stage if any inconsistency or malpractice is detected.
  • Merely being shortlisted for DV/Medical Examination does not guarantee an appointment in the Railways.
