This notification is issued to inform the general public that, in accordance with Government Order No. 2025/3313/58-1-2025 (1917687) dated September 17, 2025, issued by the Principal Secretary, Child Development Services and Nutrition, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow, online application forms are invited for the recruitment of Anganwadi Workers on a contractual basis in urban and rural areas of Lakhimpur Kheri district. Applications are to be submitted through the departmental website http://upanganwadibharti.in.

Special Instructions for Eligibility and Application

  1. Only female candidates are eligible for the advertised posts.
  2. Educational Qualification: Minimum educational qualification is Intermediate (12th grade) or equivalent. Merit will be prepared based on the highest educational qualification up to Post Graduation.
  3. Age Limit: The applicant's minimum age should be 18 years and maximum age 35 years as on July 01, 2025. The date of birth recorded in the High School mark sheet/certificate will be considered valid.
  4. Preference Criteria:
    • Preference will be given to widows/legally divorced/abandoned women from Below Poverty Line (BPL) families residing in the same Gram Sabha/Ward (in urban areas).
    • For widows, a death certificate of the husband issued by the Gram Panchayat Officer/concerned Nagar Nikay and a certified copy of the family register will be valid. For divorced/abandoned women, a legal order issued by a competent court will be valid.
    • If no eligible widow/legally divorced/abandoned woman from a BPL family is available, then other women from BPL families residing in the same Gram Sabha/Ward will be considered.
    • If no eligible candidate from BPL families (widow/legally divorced/abandoned or other BPL women) is available, then widows/legally divorced/abandoned women from families above the BPL residing in the same Gram Sabha/Ward will be considered.
    • If no eligible candidate from the above categories is available, then other women from families above the BPL residing in the same Gram Sabha/Ward will be considered.
  5. Residence and Caste Certificate: Only digitally signed online residence and caste certificates issued by the Tehsil will be valid, provided they can be verified online.
  6. Income Certificate: As per Uttar Pradesh Government Revenue Department Section-9 Order No. 3959/1-9-11-10-9 dated September 30, 2021 (as amended), income certificates issued by competent authorities will be valid, provided they can be verified online.
  7. Application Procedure: Applications must be filled online carefully and correctly in the prescribed format available on the departmental website http://upanganwadibharti.in. Self-attested, clean, and readable copies of documents, as mentioned in the online form, must be uploaded. Offline or postal applications will not be accepted. Any errors in the application, incorrect facts/data, or fraudulent educational qualifications will lead to the cancellation of candidature.
