In response to candidate queries and difficulties encountered while filling out the online application form for the Civil Services Examination, 2025, the Commission has decided to implement the following changes in the One-Time Registration (OTR) process:
The following entries in the OTR profile have been made editable until the final submission of the application and subsequently during the correction window:
Candidates are NOT permitted to make any changes to the following entries in their OTR profile:
If a candidate reports having lost access to both their registered mobile number and registered email ID, they must send a request to the Commission via email at otr-upsc@gov.in. The request must include the following four documents:
If a candidate's name has changed and there is a mismatch with the name on their matriculation or higher educational certificate, the candidate is required to submit a Gazette Notification to that effect. If the Gazette Notification is not currently available, a copy can be uploaded during the correction window, which will be provided AFTER the declaration of the CS (Prelims) Exam result.
Candidates holding an Integrated Master's Degree (Graduation and Post-graduation) may fill the same course in both their Graduation and Higher Qualification columns.
Candidates are advised to thoroughly review all entries made in the relevant columns before finally submitting their application. It is important to note that after the application submission, any changes or corrections (except for entries mentioned in Para B) can only be made during the one-week correction window, which will be provided by the Commission after the closing date of the application.
