RRB CEN 08/2024 Revised Exam Schedule for Various Posts in Level 1 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix

Notice Regarding Revised Exam Schedule

The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB) have announced a revised schedule for the Computer Based Test (CBT) for Various Posts in Level 1 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix under CEN 08/2024.

Revised Examination Dates

The exam, which was previously scheduled from 01 to 16 January 2026, will now be conducted on the following dates:

  • January 2026: 08, 09
  • February 2026: 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 09 & 10

Important Instructions for Candidates

  1. Exam City and Date Intimation: The link to view the Exam City, Date, and download the Travel Authority for SC/ST candidates will be activated on the official RRB websites approximately 10 days before the exam date.
  2. Communication: SMS and Emails will be sent to candidates on their registered mobile numbers and email IDs once the City Intimation Slip is activated.
  3. E-Call Letter Download: Candidates can download their E-Call letters (admit cards) starting 4 days prior to their exam date as mentioned in the intimation slip.
  4. Application Credentials: Candidates can access their application registration number and other credentials by visiting the official website www.rrbapply.gov.in. A 'forget password' link is also available.
  5. Helpdesk Support: For any queries or clarifications, candidates can contact the helpdesk at +91 9513631887. The service is available from Monday to Saturday, 09:00 am to 06:00 pm. A helpdesk link will also be provided after logging into the City Intimation portal.
  6. Official Updates: Candidates are strongly advised to refer only to the official websites of the RRBs for the latest updates and to avoid unauthenticated sources.
  7. Warning: Candidates should be cautious of touts who make false promises of appointment. RRB selections are strictly based on the merit of candidates in the Computer Based Test (CBT).
