Result of 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-II) and Shortlisting of Candidates for CBAT and TST under CEN No. 05/2024 (Non Technical Popular Categories (Graduate))

This notice announces the result of the 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-II) and the provisional shortlisting of candidates for the Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) and Typing Skill Test (TST) for Non-Technical Popular Categories (Graduate) under CEN No. 05/2024 by the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs).

Examination Details

The 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT) for NTPC (Graduate) posts against CEN 05/2024 was conducted from October 13, 2025.

Shortlisting Process

  • The candidates bearing the Roll Numbers listed in the original notice have been provisionally shortlisted to appear in the CBAT/TST.
  • Shortlisting is based on merit in the 2nd stage CBT. Category-wise shortlisting for CBAT and TST is determined by candidates' marks in CBT-2, provided they scored above the CBT-1 cut-off for their community.
  • Candidates who availed reservation benefits (OBC(NCL)/SC/ST/EWS, PwBD, ExSM) will continue to be considered under those categories for all subsequent stages of the recruitment process.
  • The subsequent shortlisting for Document Verification will be based on the performance in both 2nd Stage CBT and CBAT/TST (as applicable).

CBAT/TST Schedule

  • The CBAT/TST for provisionally qualified candidates for posts under CEN 05/2024 is tentatively scheduled for the 5th week of December 2025.
  • All these candidates shall be advised through the official website of RRBs / SMS / Email to download their Exam City Intimation approximately 10 days prior to the CBAT/TST.
  • The e-call letter will be available for download 4 days prior to the CBAT/TST date.

Viewing Scores and Status

  • Candidates can view their individual scores and qualifying status for CBAT/TST by logging in through the link provided on the official website of RRBs, using their Registration Number and Date of Birth.
  • Upon logging in, candidates can also view their question paper in which they appeared, along with the correct answers marked among the four options.

Important Instructions and Warnings

  • The candidature of all qualified candidates for CBAT/TST is purely provisional and is liable to be cancelled at any stage of recruitment or thereafter, in case of any inconsistency/deficiency in the furnished data or any malpractice coming to the notice of RRB.
  • Merely being called for CBAT/TST does not guarantee an appointment in the Railways.
  • While utmost care has been taken in preparing the list of qualified candidates, RRB reserves the right to rectify any inadvertent errors or typographical/printing mistakes. RRB will not entertain any correspondence from unsuccessful candidates.
  • Candidates are advised to regularly visit RRB's official website for updates.
  • The Roll Numbers of provisionally qualified candidates for CBAT/TST are arranged horizontally in ascending order and not in order of merit.
  • Important Warning: Candidates are cautioned against touts who make false promises of getting them selected for the job on illegal consideration. The recruitment process in the RRB exams is fully computerized and based solely on merit of candidates.
