This notice informs the general public about direct recruitment for Anganwadi Sahayika (Assistant) positions on an honorarium basis within the urban and rural areas of Hathras district, Uttar Pradesh. These recruitments are being conducted in accordance with Government Order No. 1/1092245/2025/3313/58-1-2025(1917687) dated 17.09.2025. Online applications are invited for these vacant posts.

The complete details of Gram Sabha/Ward-wise vacancies and reservations for the above posts will be displayed on the notice boards of the Collectorate, Vikas Bhavan, Tehsil office, and Block offices. This information will also be uploaded on the departmental website: http://upanganwadibharti.in.

Eligibility and Application Instructions

  • Only female candidates are eligible for Anganwadi Sahayika positions.
  • The minimum educational qualification for Anganwadi Sahayika posts is Intermediate (12th pass) or its equivalent.
  • The minimum age limit for applying to Anganwadi Sahayika posts is 18 years, and the maximum age limit is 35 years. The date of birth recorded in the High School mark sheet and certificate will be considered valid for age proof. The cut-off date for the maximum age limit of 35 years for Anganwadi Sahayika posts is 01.07.2025.
  • Applicants must be a resident of the same ward/Gram Sabha for which they are applying. If no eligible candidate is available in the same Gram Sabha, then eligible candidates from the related Nyay Panchayat will be considered.
  • Applications for the advertised posts will only be accepted online through the departmental website http://upanganwadibharti.in within the prescribed time limit. Application forms will be available on the departmental website.
  • Online forms must be filled carefully and correctly. Self-attested copies of documents, which are clear and readable, must be uploaded. If any error occurs during application, or if any facts/data/educational documents' marks/total marks are incorrect or forged, the candidature will be canceled. No offline or postal applications/documents will be accepted.

Reservation and Priority Criteria

Priority will be given in the following order:

  • Widows, legally divorced, or abandoned women from Below Poverty Line (BPL) families residing in the same Gram Sabha/Ward (in urban areas).
  • If no such candidate is found, then women from BPL families residing in the same Gram Sabha/Ward (in urban areas).
  • If no such candidate is found, then widows, legally divorced, or abandoned women from Above Poverty Line (APL) families residing in the same Gram Sabha/Ward (in urban areas).
  • If no such candidate is found, then women from APL families residing in the same Gram Sabha/Ward.
  • If no eligible candidate is available in any of the above categories within the same Gram Sabha, selection will be made from the relevant Nyay Panchayat according to the above categories.
  • For widows, a death certificate issued by the Gram Panchayat Officer/concerned Nagar Nikay and a certified copy of the family register will be valid. For divorced/abandoned women, a legal order issued by the Hon'ble Court will be valid.
  • Income certificates issued by competent authorities in accordance with Government Order No. 3959/1-9-11-10-9 dated 30.09.2011 regarding the re-determination of BPL income limits will be considered valid, provided online verification is possible. Compliance with the income limits prescribed for rural and urban areas for BPL as mentioned in Government Order No. 2 of the Social Welfare Department, Uttar Pradesh Government, regarding income limit re-determination, will be followed.
  • Residence and Caste certificates issued with online digital signatures by the Tehsil will be considered valid, subject to online verification.
  • The appointment of Anganwadi Sahayika will follow the Government Orders related to reservation for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes.
  • Applications will only be accepted for the category to which the post is reserved. Applications for unreserved posts can be accepted from any caste.

Important Date

  • The last date for applying for Anganwadi Sahayika posts is 11.12.2025, until midnight (12:00 AM).
