Overview

This notice concerns the 2nd Document Verification (DV) schedule for candidates provisionally shortlisted for Junior Engineer (JE), DMS, CMA, etc., under CEN 03/2024. A total of 224 candidates were initially shortlisted for Level 6 posts, and their DV and Medical Examinations have been completed. This second round of verification is to fill the remaining shortfall in empanelment for Pay Level 6 due to various reasons such as absenteeism, rejections, or medical unfitness.

Key Instructions for Candidates

  1. e-Call Letter: SMS/E-mail alerts are being sent to registered mobile numbers and email IDs for downloading e-call letters from the official RRB Guwahati website.
  2. Document Upload: Candidates must upload their signature, latest photograph, and identification marks on the portal https://oirms-ir.gov.in/rrbdv/. The portal will be active from 10 days prior to and up to the date of Document Verification. Detailed instructions are provided in the DV e-call letter.
  3. Documents for DV: Candidates must bring all original documents along with two sets of self-attested photocopies in A4 size, as detailed in the CEN and the e-call letter.
  4. Medical Examination: After DV, candidates will be sent for a medical examination at a nominated Railway Hospital under the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) jurisdiction on the following day. Candidates should be prepared to stay for three to four days. A medical fee of Rs. 24/- is payable. Any special investigations (e.g., CT Scan, Ultra Sound, refractive eye surgery) not available at the Railway Hospital may require candidates to pay directly to the concerned laboratory/hospital.

Provisional Candidature

  • Candidature is purely provisional and is subject to cancellation at any stage due to inconsistencies, discrepancies, or malpractice detected in the online application or during the recruitment process.
  • Merely being shortlisted or called for Document Verification/Medical Examination does not guarantee appointment in the Railways. Empanelment is contingent upon the correctness of all information submitted and successful verification of documents.

Schedule of Document Verification

Approximately 20 candidates are scheduled for DV on 2025-12-08.

  • Morning Session (FN): Reporting Time - 9:00 AM
  • Afternoon Session (AN): Reporting Time - 1:30 PM
  • Block Date for Absentee Document Verification: 2025-12-22 at 09:30 AM.

Mandatory Documents to Bring (Originals + 2 sets of self-attested photocopies + e-call letter)

  1. Educational Certificates: Matriculation/High School (for DOB & qualification), 10+2/Intermediate/PUC, University Degree or equivalent, other prescribed certificates/diplomas (as per CEN 03/2024).
    • For educational certificates with issue dates after the online application closing date, consolidated mark sheets with result declaration dates or individual mark sheets with result declaration dates must be submitted. If no date is available, a certificate from the Institution/University/Board indicating the result declaration date is required.
  2. Caste/Category Certificates: SC/ST (Annexure-I), Valid OBC-NCL (Annexure-II - not older than one year), Non-Creamy Layer declaration by OBC (Annexure-IIA), Income and Asset Certificate for EWS (Annexure III).
  3. Other Certificates/Documents:
    • Income certificate for waiving examination fees for Economically Backward classes (Annexure III A/BPL Card/Izzat MST).
    • Original Discharge Certificate, Ex-Servicemen book, and Identity card (clearly mentioning reason for discharge).
    • Self-Declaration for Ex-Servicemen with civil employment after applying for CEN 03/2024, along with NOC from civil employer and probable discharge date.
    • Medical Certificate for Persons with Disabilities (PwBD) as per Annexures V(A), V(B), V(C).
    • NOC with Date of Appointment from current employer (for Serving Employees).
    • Minority Community Declaration on Non-Judicial Stamp paper (Annexure - IV).
    • Gazette Notification and/or any legal document for formal name change (as per para 1.8 of General Instructions of CEN 03/2024).
    • J&K Domicile Certificate.
    • Certificate of eligibility from Government of India (as per para 4.2 of CEN 03/2024) on Nationality (for candidates other than citizens of India).
    • Decree of Divorce/Judicial separation and affidavit of non-remarriage (for divorcee/judicially separated women).
    • Death certificate of spouse and affidavit of non-remarriage (for widow candidates).
    • Any other relevant certificate/testimonials/documents.

Additional Documents for DV

  1. 06 Passport-size photographs (not older than three months).
  2. Upper portion of the e-call letters of CBT.
  3. Photocopy of both sides of Aadhar card.

Consequences of Non-Compliance

  • Failure to produce original certificates on the DV date will lead to rejection of candidature, and no further correspondence will be entertained.
  • Furnishing false information, deliberate suppression of information, or using unfair means will result in disqualification, debarment from future Railway/Government selections, and termination of service if appointed.
  • Failure to report for DV on the scheduled date will lead to rejection of candidature unless supported by documentary evidence (e.g., University/Government examination or sickness). No other reason will be considered, and no fresh e-call letter will be issued.

Free Travel Authority for SC/ST Candidates

SC/ST candidates will be provided with free travel authority for attending DV at RRB and Medical Examination at the Railway Hospital. This authority will also cover travel back to the candidate's home station upon completion of DV. Original caste certificates must be produced to avail this facility.
