Corrigendum No. 1 to CEN No. 09/2025 for Recruitment of Various Posts in Level 1 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix

Corrigendum No. 1

The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have issued a corrigendum for CEN No. 09/2025, concerning the recruitment for Various Posts in Level 1 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix. The original notification was published on 31.01.2026.

Details of Corrections / Amendments

The following revisions have been made to the original notification (CEN No. 09/2025):

Annexure-A (Post Parameters):

  • The column heading “Sr. No.” has been replaced with “Cat. No.”

Annexure-B (Vacancy Table):

  • Total vacancies have been added.
  • Vacancies have been re-arranged category-wise.
  • Vacancy details for Metro Railway/Kolkata have been revised.

All other terms and conditions of CEN No. 09/2025 will remain unchanged.

For Candidates Who Have Already Applied

  • Candidates who have already applied can modify their choice of RRB and their preference of post, Zonal Railway(s)/Production Unit within the opted RRB without any modification fees.
  • Applicants are advised to modify their options as per the updated Annexure B using their login credentials if required.

Post Parameters (Annexure-A Summary)

  • Posts Include: Assistant TRD, Assistant Operations (Electrical), Assistant TL and AC, Assistant (S and T), Pointsman B, Assistant Track Machine, Trackmaintainer-IV, Assistant Bridge, Assistant Carriage and Wagon, Assistant Loco Shed, Assistant P.Way.
  • Age Limit: 18 to 33 years.
  • Qualification: 10th pass or ITI or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.

Vacancy Details (Annexure-B)

The revised Annexure-B provides detailed railway-wise and post-wise vacancy distributions for various zones including Western Railway, North Western Railway, North Central Railway, South Western Railway, West Central Railway, East Coast Railway, Northern Railway, Southern Railway, North Eastern Railway, Northeast Frontier Railway, Eastern Railway/Metro Kolkata, Central Railway, East Central Railway, South Eastern Railway, South Central Railway, and South East Central Railway.
