Advice For Candidates

NOTIFICATIONAdded: 12 Dec 2025RRB Chandigarh

The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) are conducting the Computer Based Test for Level-1 recruitment under CEN No-08/2024 on November 27, 2025.

It has come to notice that some mischievous external elements are misleading candidates with fake chits containing numbers or letters that resemble answers to the questions asked in the examination. Candidates found using such chits during the exam will be apprehended.

Candidates are informed that these chits have no relation to the actual question paper. This is because the questions and their answer options are shuffled and randomized for each candidate. Therefore, these so-called "answer chits" are useless and entirely fraudulent.

Security Measures

The RRBs' digital system for generating, storing, sending, and distributing question papers is highly secure with 256-bit encryption. All examinations are conducted in a secure, CCTV-monitored environment.

Consequences of Malpractice

Candidates found with chits or engaging in any form of malpractice will be debarred from Railway recruitment for life, and a First Information Report (FIR) will also be lodged against them at the police station.

Important Advice

Candidates are advised not to engage in any such fraudulent activities and not to fall prey to mischievous elements who try to take advantage of them or deceive them.

Be cautious of middlemen, brokers, and job racket operators, and report such cases to the nearest police station.
