Notice for Candidates Shortlisted for Computer Based Typing Skill Test (CBTST) for Various Posts of Non-Technical Popular Categories – Under Graduate

Introduction

The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have issued a notice for candidates shortlisted for the Computer Based Typing Skill Test (CBTST) under CEN 06/2024 for the recruitment of various Non-Technical Popular Categories (Under Graduate) posts.

  • 2nd Stage CBT-II Held on: 20th December, 2025
  • CBT-II Results Declared on: 23.01.2026
  • Tentative CBTST Date: 13.02.2026

  • Typing Language Selection Deadline: 03.02.2026 (up to 07:00 PM)
  • Exemption Certificate Upload Period: 29.01.2026 to 11.02.2026 (up to 07:00 PM)

Computer Based Typing Skill Test (CBTST) Details

Shortlisted candidates are required to take the CBTST. They must choose their typing language (English or Hindi) through the official RRB website link.

  • Language Choice: If a candidate does not select a language within the stipulated time, the default language will be English.
  • Hindi Font: Candidates opting for Hindi must be familiar with Krutidev or Mangal font.

Procedure for Typing Language Selection

  1. Link: https://dc4-g22.digialm.com/EForms/configuredHtml/2667/95125/login.html
  2. Login to the portal using your credentials.
  3. Click on the "Language for CBTST" tab.
  4. Select the Plus (+) icon to expand options.
  5. Choose your Language Preference (English/Hindi).
  6. Click "Submit" to confirm and save.

Note: The language option, once exercised, cannot be changed.

Exemption for PwBD Candidates

In accordance with para 13.4 of CEN 06/2024, shortlisted PwBD candidates with permanent disabilities (Blindness/Low vision, Cerebral Palsy, and Locomotor Disability with not less than 40% permanence) may be exempted from the CBTST. To avail exemption, they must upload a scanned copy of the Typing Skill Test exemption certificate issued by a Competent Medical Board in the prescribed format (Annexure V(E) of CEN 06/2024).

Instructions for Uploading Exemption Certificate

Candidates unable to upload the certificate may report to the allotted CBTST venue with the original certificate.

Important Instructions for All Candidates

  • The original Typing Skill Test exemption certificate must be produced during Document Verification.
  • Aadhaar-linked Biometric authentication will be conducted at the exam center. Candidates must bring their original Aadhaar card.
  • Candidates are advised to refer only to the official RRB websites for updates.
  • Beware of touts with fake promises of appointment. RRB selections are based on merit in the Computer Based Test (CBT).
