This information is also uploaded on the departmental website http://upanganwadibharti.in.
Eligibility Criteria and Application Instructions
- Only female candidates are eligible for the advertised posts.
- The minimum educational qualification for the post of Anganwadi Assistant will be Intermediate or equivalent. Merit will be prepared based on academic qualifications up to postgraduate level.
- The minimum age of the applicant for the post of Anganwadi Assistant will be 18 years and maximum 35 years as of July 01, 2025. The date of birth recorded in the high school mark sheet/certificate will be considered valid for age determination.
- Two women from the same family will not be appointed as Anganwadi Worker and Anganwadi Assistant at one Anganwadi Center.
- Selection Priority:
- Widow/Legally divorced/Abandoned women from families living below the poverty line (BPL) residing in the same Gram Sabha/Ward (in urban areas) will be given priority.
- If no such candidate is available, then women from BPL families residing in the same Gram Sabha/Ward (in urban areas).
- If no such BPL candidates are available, then widow/legally divorced/abandoned women from families living above the poverty line residing in the same Gram Sabha/Ward (in urban areas).
- If no such candidates are available, then women from families living above the poverty line residing in the same Gram Sabha/Ward (in urban areas).
- For widows, a death certificate issued by the Gram Panchayat Officer/concerned Nagar Nikay and a certified copy of the family register will be valid. For legally divorced/abandoned women, a legal order issued by a competent court will be valid.
- Residence and Caste certificates: Only online digitally signed residence and caste certificates issued by the Tehsildar will be valid, as online verification is possible.
- Income certificate: Only income certificates issued by a competent authority as per Uttar Pradesh Government Revenue Department order no. 3959/1-9-11-10-9 dated 30.09.2021 (as amended) will be valid, as online verification is possible.
- The income limits for the poverty line will be adhered to as per Uttar Pradesh Government Social Welfare Department order no. 22/2015/2123/26-2-2025 dated 14.09.2015 (as amended) for rural and urban areas.
Application Process
- Applications must be filled online carefully and correctly in the format available on the departmental website http://upanganwadibharti.in.
- Applicants must upload self-attested copies of documents, which should be clear and legible, as specified in the online form.
- No offline or postal applications will be accepted.
- If any error is found in the application or if any fact, data, or academic record is incorrect or manipulated, the candidature will be cancelled.

- Online applications will be accepted from December 04, 2025, to December 25, 2025, until 12:00 AM midnight.
