Eligibility and Application Guidelines

  1. Only female candidates are eligible for the advertised posts.
  2. The minimum educational qualification for Anganwadi Assistant posts is Intermediate or equivalent, and the maximum is Post-graduation. Merit will be prepared based on these qualifications.
  3. Applicants must be permanent residents of the ward/gram sabha corresponding to the vacant post. If no eligible candidates are available in that gram sabha, then permanent residents of the concerned Nyay Panchayat will be eligible. For urban areas, the online-issued residence certificate must compulsorily mention the ward number/name.
  4. Residence and Caste certificates issued with online digital signatures by the Tehsildar will be valid, subject to online verification.
  5. Applicants for the Assistant post must be between 18 and 35 years of age. The cut-off date for age calculation is 2025-07-01.
  6. Preference will be given to applicants from the BPL (Below Poverty Line) category for the Assistant post. The determination of the BPL category will be as per Government Order No. 22/2015/2123/26-2-2015 dated 2015-09-14 (as amended) of Social Welfare Department-2, Uttar Pradesh Government.
  7. Income certificates issued by the competent authority, as per Government Order No. 3959/1-9-11-Raj0-9 dated 2011-09-30 (as amended) of Revenue Section-9, Uttar Pradesh Government, will be valid, subject to online verification.
  8. For widows, attested copies of the death certificate issued by the Gram Panchayat Officer/concerned Nagar Nikay and family register will be valid.
  9. For divorced and abandoned women, legal orders issued by the Hon'ble Court will be valid.
  10. Application forms will only be accepted online via http://upanganwadibharti.in within the specified timeframe. Offline application forms will not be accepted under any circumstances.
  11. Application forms available on the departmental website must be filled online carefully and accurately. Self-attested copies of documents that are clean and readable must be uploaded on http://upanganwadibharti.in. These documents must match those declared in the online form. Any errors, false facts, incorrect marks/grades, or forged documents found will lead to the cancellation of candidature.
