3rd Round Document Verification Schedule for Technician - III for CEN 02/2024

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), Guwahati, has released the 3rd Round Document Verification Schedule for Technician - III under CEN 02/2024.

Key Information

  • Previous Notification: The list of candidates shortlisted for 2nd Document Verification was published on the official website of RRB, Guwahati on 05.09.2025.
  • Provisional Shortlisting: Candidates with the roll numbers listed below are provisionally shortlisted for Verification of Documents/Certificates and Medical Examination.
  • Reporting Address: Office of Railway Recruitment Board, Guwahati, Panbazar, Station Road, Guwahati-781001.
  • e-Call Letters: SMS/E-mail alerts are being sent to registered mobile/email IDs for downloading e-call letters from the official RRB website.

Document Verification (DV) Process

  • Upload Requirements: Candidates must upload their signature, latest photograph, and identification marks on the portal https://oirms-ir.gov.in/rrbdv/. The portal will be active up to the date of DV. Detailed instructions are provided in the DV e-call letter.
  • Documents for DV: Candidates must produce all original documents along with two sets of self-attested photocopies in A4 size, as detailed in the CEN and e-call letter.

Medical Examination

  • Procedure: After DV, candidates will be sent for medical examination at the nominated Railway Hospital under the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) jurisdiction on the next day.
  • Stay: Candidates should be prepared to stay for three to four days for DV and Medical Examination.
  • Medical Fee: A prescribed medical fee of Rs 24/- is payable. For special investigations (e.g., CT Scan, Ultra Sound, refractive eye surgery) not available at the Railway Hospital, candidates may have to pay additional charges at a concerned laboratory/hospital.

Important Instructions

  • Provisional Candidature: All shortlisted candidatures are purely provisional and are liable to be cancelled at any stage due to inconsistency, deficiency, discrepancy, or malpractice.
  • No Guarantee of Appointment: Mere shortlisting or calling for DV/Medical Examination does not entitle a candidate to an appointment in the Railways.
  • Rectification of Errors: RRB reserves the right to rectify any inadvertent errors or typographical mistakes.

Warning Against Misguidance

  • Candidates are warned against touts making false promises of selection. The recruitment process is fully computerized and merit-based. Always refer to official RRB websites for updates.

Mandatory Documents for Document Verification

Candidates must bring 02 sets of clear & legible self-attested photocopies of the following original certificates/documents along with the e-call letter:

  1. Matriculation/High School Examination Certificate: As proof of date of birth and Matriculation qualification. (Name and father's/mother's name on application will be verified against this certificate. Affidavits are required for any spelling variations).
  2. 10+2/Inter/Higher Secondary/PUC/Equivalent Certificate: (As applicable).
  3. University Degree or its Equivalent.
  4. Other Certificate/Diploma: As prescribed under minimum educational qualification in Annexure of detailed CEN 02/2024 (Technicians).
  5. Educational Qualification Certificates: Provisional or Regular certificates must contain the date of issue. If the issue date is after the online application closing date, consolidated mark sheets or individual mark sheets with result declaration dates must be submitted. If no date is available on mark sheets/certificates, a certificate from the Institution/University/Board indicating the result declaration date must be produced.
  6. SC/ST Certificate: In the format as per Annexure-I of CEN 02/2024 (Technician) (As applicable).
  7. Valid OBC-NCL Certificate: In the format as per Annexure-II of CEN 02/2024 (Technician) (Not older than one year from DV date) (As applicable).
  8. Non-creamy layer declaration by OBC candidates: As per Annexure -IIA of CEN 02/2024 (Technician) (As applicable).
  9. Income and Asset Certificate: For Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) as per Annexure III of CEN 02/2024 (Technician) (As applicable).
  10. Income Certificate: For waiving examination fees for Economically Backward classes as per Annexure IIIA / BPL Card / Izzat MST of CEN 02/2024 (Technician) (As applicable).
  11. Original Discharge Certificate, Ex-Servicemen Book, Identity Card: Clearly mentioning the reason for discharge and other details.
  12. Self-Declaration and NOC for Ex-Servicemen: For Ex-Servicemen who secured civil employment after applying for this CEN, a self-declaration to the employer regarding application details and NOC from the civil employer with the probable date of discharge must be produced during DV (Annexure-VI of CEN 02/2024).
  13. Medical Certificate for Persons with Disabilities (PwBD): As per Annexures V(A), V(B), V(C) of CEN 02/2024 (Technician) (As applicable).
  14. NOC with Date of Appointment: From the current employer for Serving Employees.
  15. Minority Community Declaration: On Non-Judicial Stamp paper as per Annexure - IV of CEN 02/2024 (Technician) (As applicable).
  16. Gazette Notification and/or any Legal Document: For formal change of name as mentioned in para 1.8 of General Instructions of CEN 02/2024.
  17. J&K Domicile Certificate: (As applicable).
  18. Certificate of Eligibility from Government of India: As per para 4.0 (b) of CEN 02/2024 on Nationality (For candidates other than citizens of India).
  19. Decree of Divorce/Judicial Separation: From the Competent Court of Law, along with an affidavit stating non-remarriage (for divorcee/judicially separated women).
  20. Death Certificate of Spouse: Along with an affidavit stating non-remarriage (for widow candidates).
  21. Any other relevant certificate/testimonials/documents available with the candidate.

Additional Documents to Bring for DV

  • 06 Passport size photographs (not older than three months).
  • Upper portion of the e-call letters of CBT.
  • Photocopy of both sides of the Aadhar card.

Consequences of Non-Compliance

  • Failure to produce original certificates on the DV date will lead to rejection of candidature, with no further correspondence.
  • Furnishing false information, deliberate suppression, or using unfair means will disqualify the candidate, debar them from future selections/appointments, and may lead to termination of service if appointed.

Free Travel Authority for SC/ST Candidates

  • SC/ST candidates are provided with free travel authority for train travel to attend DV at RRB office and subsequently to the Railway Hospital for Medical Examination. This authority will be issued at RRB upon DV completion.

Medical Examination Details

  • The date, time, and place of Medical Examination will be intimated at the time of DV.
  • Candidates must be prepared to stay for more than 4 days for DV/Medical Examination at their own cost.

Absence from Document Verification

  • Failure to report for DV on the scheduled date will result in rejection of candidature, unless supported by documentary evidence of appearing in a University/Government examination or due to sickness. No other reason will be considered, and no fresh e-call letter will be issued.
