This notice from the Staff Selection Commission announces the result for the shortlisting of candidates to appear in the Detailed Medical Examination (DME)/Document Verification (DV) for the Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau Examination, 2025.

Computer Based Examination and PET/PST Summary

The result of the Computer Based Examination, 2025, was declared by the Commission on 2025-06-17. A total of 3,94,121 candidates (40,213 Female and 3,53,908 Male) were shortlisted for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Standard Test (PST) for recruitment in various Forces/Organizations:

Other Important Information

  • Migration of Candidates: Candidates belonging to SC, ST, and OBC categories who migrated from one State/UT to another and opted for reservation from their State/UT of origin were considered in their respective reserved categories. Otherwise, they were considered as UR candidates from their domicile State/UT. Out of 426 such candidates, 77 qualified for DME/DV.
  • Temporary Unfit Female Candidates: 31 out of 45 temporarily unfit female candidates, whose marks are above the cut-off in their respective State, Area, and Category, may undergo DME/DV subject to their qualifying in PET/PST.

  • Withheld Results: The results of 20 female candidates (List-III) and 260 male candidates (List-IV) have been withheld due to suspected malpractices and are subject to further scrutiny.
  • Consideration against Vacancies: Candidates shortlisted against All India vacancies will also be considered against State/UT vacancies (General/Border/Naxal District Areas) based on domicile. A similar procedure will apply to candidates shortlisted against State/UT vacancies.
  • Reserved Category Candidates at UR Standard: Reserved category candidates who qualified at the UR standard have been considered against UR vacancies. If not selected at UR standards, they may be allocated against their respective categories. A similar principle applies to Border/Naxal District Area candidates qualifying at General/Border District Area cut-offs.

Resolution of Tie Cases

In the event of a tie in normalized marks of candidates in the Computer Based Examination (including NCC bonus marks), cases are resolved by applying the following criteria, in order:

a) Marks in Part-A of Computer Based Examination. b) Marks in Part-B of Computer Based Examination. c) Date of Birth, with older candidates placed higher. d) Alphabetical order of names.

General Conditions

  • The shortlisting for DME/DV is purely provisional and subject to candidates fulfilling all prescribed eligibility conditions.
  • As per Para 12.5.6 of the Notice of the Examination, the conduct of PST/PET and DME/RME is the sole responsibility of the CAPFs. The Commission will not entertain any representation, appeal, RTI applications, or CPGRAMs against the decisions of the PST/PET and DME/RME Board.
  • The Nodal CAPF (CRPF) will inform the venue and schedule of DME/DV. Call letters for qualified candidates will be uploaded on the CRPF website: http://crpf.gov.in.

a) List-I: 9,179 Female candidates provisionally shortlisted for DME/DV. b) List-II: 86,085 Male candidates provisionally shortlisted for DME/DV. c) List-III: 20 Female Withheld candidates. d) List-IV: 260 Male Withheld candidates. e) List-V: 68 Debarred candidates.
